The CamJam XT Cord Tightener is made from durable aluminium, making it ideal for tensioning rope under heavy loads. Combining the features of a carabiner and a cam mechanism, it makes it easy to secure, tension and join lines in demanding outdoor conditions. The carabiner attaches to a fixed point, and the cam mechanism allows the line to be quickly connected, tightened and easily released.

The set includes a carabiner with a gate made of stainless steel (wire type). The cam mechanism locks automatically under load and stays locked until manually released by turning the lever. Tension can be adjusted repeatedly without having to unclip the line. The CamJam is suitable for securing heavy loads using two methods—both for creating a loop (Loop System) and as a classic tightener (Fixed End System). The maximum load for a single set is 227 kg, with a maximum carabiner strength of 680 kg. Compatible with lines 3 to 9.5 mm in diameter.

The product is not recommended for climbing protection or for other activities where very high loads are involved.

Nite Ize

MILITARY is a premium dealer of Nite Ize.

Nite Ize is an American company from Colorado whose history dates back to 1989, when student Rick Case accidentally dropped a torch he was holding in his mouth while night fishing – this situation inspired him to create the Headband Mini Flashlight Holder. Today, the brand's range includes more than 500 innovative EDC accessories, valued for their practical approach to everyday challenges. Nite Ize's reputation was cemented by the S-Biner – a distinctive double-sided carabiner that has gained iconic status in functional design, compared to such classics as the Coca-Cola bottle. In 2024, the company received a unique three-dimensional trade mark protecting the shape of the S-Biner. Flagship products include Gear Tie – flexible, reusable ties for organising cables – and Tru Zip, an innovative waterproof zip without classic teeth. Both solutions perfectly illustrate the brand's approach to design – transforming everyday inconveniences into simple, ingenious tools. Nite Ize's team currently consists of around 250 employees, and the company generates annual revenues exceeding 100 million dollars while operating in markets worldwide.

An extremely practical gadget for camping or for attaching and tightening various types of cords, for example to a tarp. It makes work easier, especially when setting up a tarp in the rain. It can withstand loads over 200 kg, so it's also suitable for a hammock.

A very well-made snap hook from a well-known and trusted company. Despite its small size, it is very solid. The materials used are of high quality. In my opinion, the price matches the product.

Great gadget. A small snap hook, but its possible uses are really wide. You can use it to attach, fasten or lift something. Its application depends mainly on our creativity. The workmanship is of a very high standard. I definitely recommend it.
