The torch, equipped with an LED that emits UV light at a wavelength of 405 nm, is suitable for a wide range of applications, including the detection of fluorescent substances, forensic investigations, quality control, and amber hunting.
The construction, made of durable 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium anodized black, makes the torch very lightweight and damage-resistant. Its compact dimensions (length 150 mm, diameter 19 mm, thickness 26 mm) and low weight of 72 grams (without batteries) make it easy to use and carry, even in a pocket.
The device is powered by two AA (LR6) batteries, which are widely available and affordable. Additionally, the C2 UV model is equipped with a loop for attaching a lanyard. The switch is located at the rear and operates only the maximum UV light mode without additional functions.
The device’s durability is confirmed by an IPX7 certification, meaning it can withstand drops from a height of 1 metre and is water-resistant to a depth of 1 metre.
The set includes two AA batteries, a lanyard, and a set of replacement thread seals.
