I use these gaiters in autumn and winter. They have steel wires, but I don't use them. They are easy to put on thanks to the strong Velcro that holds well. They aren't suitable for the warmer months because they make your legs hot. In exceptional situations, you can use them in summer. I recommend buying them.

Gaiters made of a three-layer laminate. The first layer is a combination of 96% polyester and 4% elastane, the second layer is a breathable polyurethane membrane, and the third layer is 100% PU-coated polyester. They provide water resistance of 5000 mm/m2 and breathability of 500 g/m2.
Gaiters are designed to protect the legs and uppers of boots from snow and rain. Recommended for uniformed services, rescue workers, forestry workers, trekking enthusiasts, hunters and fishermen. In dry conditions, they can also protect against dust and sand.
The inside of the gaiters on the ankle side has been reinforced with soft material, further enhancing thermal comfort in low temperatures.
The design allows for quick and comfortable donning and full adjustability. The gaiters are fastened at the front with Velcro. A widened patch at the top prevents accidental unfastening. Steel hooks attached to the laces are responsible for proper tongue covering.
An adjustable steel cable under the sole ensures a stable hold on the foot and a snug fit. An elastic welt with a stopper prevents the gaiters from slipping off.

Very good product for warmer days, they are light and thin, so they probably won't work well in winter. The Velcro strap holds firmly and they don't slip down the leg. They rustle slightly when walking, but it doesn't cause any discomfort. I have no complaints about their breathability.

I used them during SERE B – they worked great, others had soaked shoes, while mine only started leaking on the third day, and that was through another place. There is a hook for laces, but it often slips off, although the whole thing still holds well. Sometimes the wire under the sole loosens and dangles, but doesn't fall out – you just need to tuck it back in. The Velcro, although loud, holds well. They aren't insulated, are thin, and are rather meant for warmer weather, although they could breathe better.

The size is very suitable, nice colour, they hold well. The downside is the installation of the steel wires, which are not secured in any way and often fall out – I've already lost one.
