Mil-Tec Standard Catalytic Heater - Silver
The catalytic hand warmer is designed to warm the body in low temperatures. It is an efficient heat source that can be taken on a hike, into the mountains, or for extended periods outdoors. It works well when kept in a pocket near the chest or placed in gloves to warm the hands. It can also be used to dry gloves or footwear.
Durable metal housing, fuel tank
The heater body is made of durable, damage-resistant steel with a polished finish. The lower part contains a fuel chamber with a hygroscopic fabric insert that prevents accidental spillage.
Flameless burner, safe use
The heater should be filled through the opening at the top using lighter fluid, for example. A flameless burner protected by a removable cover is located here. After filling, the catalyst must be briefly heated—after activation, the device will emit heat for approximately 5–8 hours.
The heating process is smokeless, effective, and completely safe due to the catalyst that neutralizes the resulting gases. Heat is generated by the controlled combustion of fuel vapors inside the catalyst chamber.

I'm glad I managed to buy it at this price and that it was still available. I immediately bought a spare wick. It's getting colder, so I'll start testing it soon.

The heater works properly. I used universal paraffin. I lit the wick with a lighter – literally 1–2 seconds were enough for the heater to start working. I can recommend this product. I also have the Mil-Tec Premium and Zippo models, but this one, even though it’s the cheapest, works just as well.

Generally everything is okay, but how am I supposed to know exactly how much lighter fluid to pour in? Other than that, for the price, the heater works as expected.

The heater works as it should. You need to practise a bit to learn how to light it efficiently and correctly. It keeps warm for quite a long time and gives comfort. Useful when sleeping outdoors on cold days. I recommend it.

It works well. It's worth buying a spare catalyst straight away because you might need a few tries before you learn to light it correctly, and it doesn't cost much. The downside is the smell in a room, so I don't recommend using it in a sleeping bag. However, outdoors it heats very well, for example, your chest or back.
