Mil-Tec Recom 2-person tent - Flecktarn

Tent for two people made from durable and damage-resistant 190T and 210D polyester. The double-layer structure, featuring a flysheet with a water resistance of 2000 mm/m2 and an inner tent with a water resistance of 800 mm/m2, provides effective protection against wind and rain, as well as better thermal insulation. Due to its relatively small size when folded and lightweight poles, the tent is suitable for short trips in the outdoors.

The flysheet is made from 190T polyester, which has been coated with a layer of polyurethane, increasing moisture resistance. The floor made from Oxford 210D polyester features water resistance of 2000 mm/m2, protecting against moisture from the ground. These materials combine low weight with high mechanical strength. Additionally, the use of taped seams increases the tightness of the structure, eliminating critical leakage points during rainfall.

Lightweight fibreglass poles provide low weight and strength to the structure. The segmented construction of the poles allows for quick assembly and disassembly of the tent. Optimisation of the tent's geometry for stability allows for resistance to strong wind gusts.

The model is equipped with an additional porch, allowing for storage of gear without taking up space in the sleeping area. The presence of a mosquito net at the entrance effectively protects against insects while providing adequate ventilation. Additional ventilation openings improve air circulation, reducing condensation inside the tent and enhancing sleeping comfort.

The set includes a solid transport cover, facilitating the carrying and storage of the tent.

Flecktarn is a classic German military camouflage pattern, officially introduced for use by the Bundeswehr in 1990. The pattern is based on small, irregular spots in five colors – typically dark green, olive, brown, black and beige. With the distribution of numerous dots and blurred boundaries between the colors, Flecktarn effectively distracts from the wearer's silhouette in forest terrain, as well as in scrubland or against the background of forest undergrowth. The camouflage was designed for European climatic conditions, especially for the temperate zone. To this day, Flecktarn remains a standard pattern used by the German army, other military and police officers. Its effectiveness has led to numerous variants and adaptations in other countries.
