Mil-Tec Operator MT1R Recharge 500 lumens torch - Black

The Miltec mt1r is a great torch for 109 PLN, it's hard to find a better one for this budget. In hand, it feels solid, the aluminium body is durable – it's dropped on me many times and still works flawlessly, with no signs of damage. The charging port has a convenient sliding cover, so dirt doesn't collect in it. Mist or light rain doesn't harm it. If you don't need a massive range and want truly strong light for its size – it's a perfect choice. It has three light modes: very strong, second moderate, and third, weakest for short distances, but still gives good light. The real range of strong mode is about 50 metres. The runtime on the strongest mode is 2–3 hours, which is decent. 18650 batteries are cheap and you can buy spares. All in all, an ideal torch for the forest, urban exploration or daily use – very strong, sturdy and well-made.

At this price it's an excellent product, shines strongly, has a solid aluminium housing and several modes to choose from. I most often use it during evening bike rides. I definitely recommend it!

A compact torch, easy to use, sits well in the hand. It's not too light, but doesn't tire the hand either. Simple design with no unnecessary extras. In my opinion, its functionality exceeds its price.

The torch is solid and shines well. The beam is quite diffused, but more focused in the centre, which makes it easier to recognize a person from a greater distance. The biggest plus is the built-in battery, although it's a pity that it is charged by the outdated micro-USB. For a price up to 100 PLN, a very successful purchase.

The torch offers a very good quality-to-price ratio. In the 500 lumen mode it brightly lights up entire rooms, even in total darkness. There is no focus adjustment, but the reflector is set optimally, providing both a wide angle and good range. In reality it's made of aluminium, not plastic as the description says. Full charging took about 5 hours at 2A for me, though the manufacturer states 3.5h. While charging, the LED changes from red to green. If the working times provided by the manufacturer are accurate, then for this price it is really a great and lightweight torch, solidly made.

I quickly needed an inexpensive torch to mount on an ASG replica. I chose this model with adjustable Olight Weaver mount and it works quite well.

I bought my daughter her first torch for camp, it hasn't been used yet. For now it works flawlessly and seems durable. We'll see what she says after she returns. A big advantage is the large battery capacity, and if it was USB-C, it would be perfect.
