Mil-Tec Norwegian Wool Socks - Grey

There aren't many insulated boots on the market, and those available are usually not very warm, so these socks worn over thin ones provide good warmth. They're comfortable and don't cause any itching when I put them over another pair.

These socks work great for sleeping – they're warm, gentle on the skin, not tight, and easy to take off without waking up. I purposely chose a larger size and they turned out to be perfect for sleeping!

Excellent, slightly scratchy socks with thicker yarn, they keep the heat in perfectly. If you're looking for something to protect well against the cold in a sleeping bag at night, this is a great choice; you can get used to the scratchiness, and sleep comfort definitely increases.

Finally socks that don’t constrict. However, I think for longer walks other products are a better choice. These will be suitable for wearing around the house or for sleeping at night.

The socks are very warm. They worked well during longer trips in cold conditions. The downsides are that they’re a bit too loose, they may get stained by some shoe insoles, and they easily pick up unpleasant odours. Despite this, I give them 5 stars and recommend them.

I agree with the previous opinions. The socks are very comfortable, warm and not scratchy. I can’t comment on their performance outdoors, but after several hours at home, by the fireplace, the campfire or for everyday use they’re a great choice. You can easily slide on the floor with them ;) At this price it’s almost perfection.

The socks are really warm and durable. In my opinion, they’re even better than some merino ones. I was satisfied with them even during longer hikes. A product worth recommending, especially at this price. I’d give them 5 for the winter season.

As others have said, the socks are warm, but not really suitable for longer hikes. They perform much better at home, with slippers or at camp. Really good product, I recommend it.

Great socks, although the size seems unusual – size 29-42 has always been perfect for me, but these are a bit looser than I expected. Generally quite roomy. I was pleasantly surprised that they’re not scratchy – I had such concerns. They keep the warmth in. They’ll work perfectly during winter evenings at home or after a whole day’s hike to the tent or at camp. I give them a solid 9/10.

Inspired by Michał’s review, I ordered one pair to try and it was a bullseye. Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect both for going on walks and for wearing at home. Feet feel comfortable in them, the socks are airy and breathable, yet very warm and pleasant. I’ll definitely buy more – both for the backpack and for home. For this quality and price (as you know, Mil-Tec) I can only recommend and thank for the great service at Militaria.

The socks are very comfortable, although I wouldn’t recommend them for longer walks as they don’t fit tightly to the foot. I plan to use them more as a change of socks after a hike, at camp. Currently, I wear them at home and I’m really satisfied. At this price, they’re really worth trying while they’re available.
