It's an ordinary, thick cord. Nothing special, but it serves its purpose. It's stronger than a standard 5mm cord and costs a bit more. Product as described. I recommend it.

Strong, solid and durable. Although thin, its strength matches or even exceeds that of some towing ropes. It's worth having paracord handy at home, in the car and, of course, in your rucksack, as there are many uses for it.

The braid is rather loose. I wouldn't trust this rope with my life, but it's perfect for camp or garden uses. I use it to secure my gazebo in strong winds (tying it to trees on three sides) and it works very well.

Very strong, thick and well made. It will even do as a rope for tying a boat to a jetty. It is abrasion-resistant, so it will certainly last.

The string makes an unpleasant creaking noise in my hand and gives me the chills (maybe this is just me), and it also takes a long time to dry.
