I really recommend it — for about 10 PLN it’s a great product. I bought them for Helikon UTP trousers, so I wouldn’t have to taper them. Now I don’t worry about my trousers getting caught in the bicycle gear, plus they protect well against wind and insects.
Elastic rubber bands for trousers from Mil-Tec. They are made of polyester and steel. They protect the trouser legs from, for example, screwing into the front sprocket, and also prevent insects, water, sand or other dirt from getting under the legs. In addition, they will effectively protect against wind.
Comes with two pairs of safety bands.

A really good solution for trousers that are too long and for fastening trouser legs by the boot. They don’t squeeze too much, and for the price they’re excellent. The hooks are gentle on the skin and don’t cause discomfort. Highly recommend. I’m attaching a video with instructions for use.

The Mil-Tec elastic trouser straps are a comfortable and practical gadget. Thanks to the springy material, they easily adjust to the legs, protecting shoes from dust and insects. They’re simple to put on and stay in place, which improves comfort outdoors. Great for hiking, camping, or other outdoor adventures.

I picked up the idea for securing long trouser legs from a friend. After a brief demonstration, I invested in both colours and use them as recommended. Not only do I no longer have creases at the bottom of my trousers, but my legs are also well protected against sand, stones and rain. A very practical and functional accessory.

You can find various videos and instructions online about using the straps – it’s a matter of personal preference. Personally, I wear high, thick socks with ankle boots, place the strap above the boot upper, and tuck a part of the trouser leg under the strap so that, when sitting, the leg is completely covered down to the boot. When walking, the trousers naturally fall over the top of the boot, which helps protect against things falling into the boots.
-
The straps hold the trouser legs well, and the hooks don’t come off on their own. They don’t squeeze the calf if you put them over your socks above the boot. After several walks, there is no visible sign of wear.
-
The straps are sturdy and inexpensive. The only downside is that the hook ends are a bit sharp and scratched the shoes slightly when tucking in the trouser legs.
-
Good quality, durable and not too tight – I recommend them.
-
Very sturdy and solidly made, they’ll certainly last for a long time.

From previous comments, it’s clear that some people don’t fully know how to use the straps correctly: - fasten the strap onto the boot, - let the trouser leg fall freely to cover the strap, - tuck the end of the trouser leg under the strap from underneath. The product is worth its price, I give it 4 stars, as the hook ends are sharp and may cause material to fray.
-
A solid product, although the aesthetics aren’t the best – but what matters is functionality, not looks.
-
At first, the package did not arrive as ordered, but it was quickly sent afterwards. Good quality product.
-
Good workmanship, the mechanism is based on connecting two metal hooks. If you don’t hide them, e.g. under the boot, the look isn’t the best, but the most important thing is they do their job.
-
The straps are well made and effectively keep the trouser legs in place. I recommend them.
-
They work great for controlling trouser legs without having to tuck them into boots. Flawless build quality.
