Woodland camouflage
Woodland, also known as US Woodland or M81, is a classic camouflage pattern introduced to the US Armed Forces at the beginning of the 1980s, based on the earlier ERDL pattern. For over two decades, it served as the standard pattern used by the US military until the end of the first decade of the 21st century. It is characterised by large, irregular patches in shades of green, brown, beige, and black, providing excellent camouflage and disruptive qualities, especially in woodland areas. Due to its effectiveness and international recognition, many variants have been created and used by over 60 uniformed formations worldwide. This pattern has significantly influenced pop culture, transitioning from the military to everyday fashion.
