Mil-Tec Assault Pack Small Backpack 20 l - Phantomleaf WASP I Z3A
Tactical backpack with a capacity of 20 litres, made of durable polyester resistant to abrasion. The inner PVC coating effectively protects the contents from moisture. It will work well for both tactical and survival use, as well as for everyday use.
Spacious compartments and hydration system pocket
The backpack has 2 spacious compartments, closed with two-way zips, which allow wide opening and quick access to equipment. Inside the compartments, practical dividers are arranged for easy organisation of carried items.
Additional equipment can be stored in 2 front pockets. The upper one features a velcro panel for attaching patches and emblems, while the lower, larger pocket is equipped with an organiser for small accessories. On the back there is a hidden Velcro-closed pocket for a hydration system, which can also be used to store valuables.
MOLLE/PALS System
The front and sides of the backpack are equipped with MOLLE/PALS-compatible webbing, which allows you to conveniently attach additional equipment, increasing the functionality and capacity of the backpack.
Comfortable carrying system and compression straps
Side compression straps allow the backpack to be optimally adjusted to the gear being carried. Padded, adjustable shoulder straps and the back of the backpack ensure a high level of carrying comfort, even when carrying a heavier load. The ventilation channels used improve air circulation, increasing the comfort of use. Wide, 5-centimetre shoulder straps are equipped with functional D-rings. Load stabilisation and even weight distribution is assisted by an adjustable hip belt. On top of the backpack there is a handle for carrying in hand.
Phantomleaf camouflage
WASP I is an innovative line of PHANTOMLEAF® CIV-TEC® camouflage patterns designed specifically for MIL-TEC®. PHANTOMLEAF® camouflage patterns are created through advanced digital image analysis of the terrain in which the variant is designed to provide camouflage. The algorithm used also takes motion and other variables into account, so the patterns have good adaptive properties over a wide range of conditions. At the same time, PHANTOMLEAF® camouflages are distinctive enough to guarantee good identification of "friend or foe" within a group of soldiers on the battlefield or during an ASG game.
WASP I Z3A variant will perform well in a wide range of areas with high green vegetation, such as deciduous and coniferous forests or tropical jungles. It also maintains good camouflage properties in suburban and rural areas where green agricultural crops, scrub and grassy zones dominate. An innovative alternative to US Woodland or PenCott Wildwood camouflage.

The backpack is comfortable and well-made. I chose the 20L version and sometimes I do miss those extra 5 litres, but even so, it's perfectly sufficient for everyday use at work. It easily holds a spare jacket or a warm fleece, a large towel, food for a whole working day, a notebook, a multitool and other small items – like a cap or tactical gloves. Thanks to the MOLLE straps, it can easily be expanded if needed, for example with a first aid kit or an additional pocket for a thermos. I definitely recommend it.
