A field hat designed to comply with the U.S Army's personal equipment specifications for soldiers. For perfect ventilation of the head, the Boonie Hat has been equipped with two openings with mesh to prevent the entry of insects. The wide, padded brim provides excellent protection from the sun and rain.
The hat is made from airy cotton reinforced with a RipStop weave that prevents the fabric from tearing. Above the brim, a band is sewn on to allow the attachment of small items (e.g. insect repellent, camouflage elements). Special fastening ropes finished with a leather strap allow a perfect fit to the wearer's head.
