Midland Wild Guardian Camera Trap - 20MPX

Equipped with a 90-degree lens and an automatic infrared filter, the camera trap can record video and take photos in JPEG format. The PIR detection angle is 80 degrees, which allows for precise motion detection. IP65-rated waterproofing provides full protection against dust and resistance to water jets coming from any direction.

10 LEDs and a long-lasting battery

The camera trap works as a video camera both day and night, capturing clear images with 10 infrared LEDs. It is powered by 4 AA batteries, which enable long-term observations.

    1. "Durable battery" – this is more about "efficient energy usage", as there is no battery or accumulator included in the set. 2. The device requires 4 AA batteries or accumulators to operate, not 8 as stated in the description. A nice option is the ability to select the number of photos (1-3 in .jpg format) the device takes when it detects movement, as well as set their resolution. Videos are saved as .avi files. If the battery is low, the IR function does not work, but if motion is detected in the presence of another light source, recording will start. Regarding the previous review, the manufacturer is indeed from Italy, but the equipment is labelled "Made in China" ;)

    A compact and handy trail camera. I was pleasantly surprised that it was made in Italy, not China. It doesn't have WiFi, but for me, that's not a problem at all.
