These radios are really great. They have many functions, the sound is clear, the casing is solid, and the display is easy to read. In dense forest, the range was about 2 km and I noticed no problems with the connection.

In my opinion, the included batteries have too little capacity and discharge quickly in the field. Replacing them with Eneloop Pros solves this problem. The radios themselves are very compact, which is a big advantage. The range is really good – in dense forest it reaches about 3 km.

I spent a long time looking for the right model and analysing reviews. I recently tested the range and was pleasantly surprised – in a built-up area the range was about 1 km and was excellent. My wife used the device at home and I was outside – I haven't tested any further. I definitely recommend it.
