Midland CB Alan-42 DS Handheld Radio

Midland Alan-42 DS handheld radio. A small-sized portable radio with CB function and the ability to quickly adapt to work with a car. Alan-42 is equipped with automatic noise blocker and automatic battery saving system.

The radio features a large display for ease of operation and showing the currently enabled functions. Alan-42 DS provides the ability to operate in temperatures from -10 to 55 °C.

In addition to an automatic noise blocking system, the radio features manual adjustment (SQ) options. The radio also has the ability to listen to two frequencies simultaneously (Dual Watch) and scan channels. The Alan-42 DS is also equipped with NB/ABL noise filters, quick access to the EMG emergency channel and a push-button lock option.

The radio is powered by six AA batteries or eight 1.2V rechargeable batteries.
