The mat is worth its price. It insulates well and is comfortable to sit on. It absorbs a bit of moisture if you put it on something wet, but the material is pleasant on the skin. Very comfortable in the summer.

Definitely worth it if you want to sit by the fire and it's not summer – this ensures you won't be uncomfortable, and sitting is much more pleasant. An extra plus is the harmonious design - the dirty or wet side doesn't touch the clean one.

The mat was bought for my son for a scout camp. I don't know what difference the mat itself made, but my son came back safe and healthy (and so did the mat), so I can confidently recommend it.
