The mat is worth its price. It insulates well and is comfortable to sit on. It absorbs some moisture if you place it on something wet, but the material is pleasant for the skin. Very comfortable in the summer.

It's really worth it if you want to sit by the campfire and it isn't summer — it makes sure you won't be uncomfortable and sitting is much more pleasant. An additional plus is the clever design — the dirty or wet side doesn't touch the clean side.

I bought the mat for my son’s scout camp. I don’t know how much of a difference the mat itself made, but my son came back safe and sound (the mat did too), so I can confidently recommend it.
