MFH Lid for US Army Canteen

The set consisting of the MFH mug, MFH lid, and Nalgene Oasis 1l bottle in an M-Tac pouch really appealed to me. It’s the best kit I’ve had so far. I highly recommend such a set.

Unfortunately, this lid does not fit the original US Army mug – it’s too small. I had to bend the edges to make it work at all, but it’s still not great. It’s a shame there is no information about incompatibility with the original.

It fits perfectly to the dedicated MFH mug, presses in lightly, the workmanship is flawless. If someone likes cooking with a mug, this set is an absolute must have.

It’s an essential item for MFH mug owners who want to boil water quickly. The lid and mug make a perfect duo that enhances every outdoor activity. The price could be lower, as it’s almost half the value of the mug, but all the same the product deserves a 5-star rating.

20 zloty for a lid seems like quite a lot, but it’s worth it – the way it fits is very well thought out. The lid is slightly smaller than the mug, which makes it hold tightly. Thanks to this, you can easily lift the mug from the fire like a handle, which is very helpful when the handle is hot – and this often happens while cooking.

The combination of the MFH mug, MFH lid, MFH stand and Nalgene Oasis 1l bottle in an M-Tac pouch mounted on a Wisport Sparrow 30l backpack (molle system) really appealed to me. In my opinion, it’s the best possible set. I honestly recommend this kit.

It looks like the lid was designed especially for the Army Canteen mug. It helps boil water much faster. When buying the mug, I think it’s worth getting the lid straight away. I would buy it again.
