MFH Israeli Pilot Sleeping Bag - Left Flecktarn

Durable sleeping bag in Flecktarn camouflage, with an envelope shape, ensures a comfortable body position and freedom of movement while sleeping. Its design is based on sleeping bags used by Israeli pilots. It is made of high-quality polyester, while the whole construction is complemented by a durable outer layer and synthetic Hollow Fiber filling.

The operating temperatures of the Pilot sleeping bag as defined in accordance with EN ISO 23537-1:

• T-comfort: 4.9 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
• T-limit: -0.2 degrees Celsius - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
• T-extreme: -15.5 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which survival in the sleeping bag is possible. This is not a value recommended for standard use.

The outer and inner layers are made of durable polyester, which effectively protects against abrasion and mechanical damage while also reducing the risk of further tearing of the fabric.

Insulation is provided by a double layer of Hollow Fiber fibres with a grammage of 200 g/m2, distinguished by low weight and very high compressibility. The quilted construction limits fibre shifting, which supports even heat distribution. In addition, the insulation does not become permanently compressed, so it regains its original resilience while remaining breathable and supporting proper air circulation. The insulation retains its thermal insulation properties even after getting wet, washing, and intensive use. The filling does not cause allergic reactions and is suitable for people allergic to down.

The model is equipped with a two-way zip with velcro fastening running along the full length. When fully unzipped, the sleeping bag can serve as a blanket or camping tarp. It can also be connected to a second model equipped with a zip on the opposite side.

The model works well for transport and storage. After folding and compression, the sleeping bag measures 40 x 25 x 25 cm and weighs 1800 g, making it easy to carry without excessively burdening your equipment.

The sleeping bag comes with a transport cover that makes storage and carrying easier. It is placed in the head area, so it can also serve as a pillow.

Flecktarn is a classic German military camouflage pattern officially adopted by the Bundeswehr in 1990. The pattern is based on small, irregular spots in five colours - most commonly dark green, olive, brown, black, and beige. Thanks to the arrangement of numerous dots and the blurred transitions between colours, Flecktarn effectively breaks up the user's silhouette both in forest terrain and in brush or against the background of forest litter. The camouflage was developed for European climatic conditions, especially in the temperate zone. Flecktarn remains the standard pattern used by the German army and other military and police formations, and its effectiveness has led to the creation of numerous variants and adaptations in other countries.
