The compass itself is sturdy, but I’m deducting a star for the case, which is poor quality, too big, badly sewn, and has a poor fastening. I think it would be better if the manufacturer didn’t include it at all. However, the compass itself seems to be made from good materials.

The compact, foldable prismatic compass MFH Fox Outdoor Precision is enclosed in a robust metal housing, resistant to mechanical damage. It allows for accurate direction and azimuth determination, as well as distance and object size calculations in the field. The compass includes a spirit level, sighting mirror, lens-equipped sight, and a tripod mounting thread. A nylon pouch with a belt loop is also included.

The foldable black housing is made of metal, ensuring a durable structure and resistance to intensive use. The built-in spirit level helps with precise device leveling, while the lanyard loop and tripod or theodolite thread enhance its field usability.
The rotating dial is filled with a liquid containing alcohol, preventing freezing, dampening vibrations, and enabling clear readings even while in motion. The sapphire bearing ensures smooth and precise rotation of the Power Magnet magnetic needle. On the bottom of the compass, you’ll find angle and gradient tables to support terrain analysis.
The functionality of a sighting compass is provided by side scales in metric and imperial units, a lens-equipped sight, front and rear sights, and a map compass scale.
The design is completed with an internal mirror that allows for quick and convenient reading.
