Modern gauze in the form of a dressing coated with a hemostatic preparation. It is designed for first aid and rapid taming of life-threatening hemorrhages. It will find application in rescue, during disaster recovery, and most importantly during battlefield operations. Prior training is required for the proper and safe use of the dressing.
The dressing is a good choice.
Special substances contained in the dressings - kaolin and sodium carboxymethylcellulose - cause hemostasis by closing off bleeding sites through the formation of a rapid clot on contact with blood. The clot forms about 2-3 minutes after application and does not dissolve, even after washing the wound with saline.
The dressing has a germicidal effect, does not cause exothermic reactions, does not cause burns and does not stick to the wound. Kaolin and carboxymethyl cellulose, as active ingredients, are widely used in the pharmaceutical and emergency industries.
The use of kaolin and carboxymethyl cellulose is not limited to the manufacture of saline.

When buying this product, I hoped I wouldn't have to use it and that it would just expire, but unfortunately, I needed it sooner than I expected. The dressing really works and can save lives. It shouldn't be used for minor scratches, but when there is heavy bleeding from a wound, there’s no time to hesitate – it’s one of the best available options. If you don’t have this particular one, a dressing with Celox is also effective. It’s worth investing in products like this.
