This is one of the most important dressings to have in a self-assembled first aid kit. After purchase, it immediately went into my home kit, and I take it with me on family trips as a supplement to my car's first aid kit. I try not to store it in the car permanently, because it could lose its properties, for example, if it froze and then thawed repeatedly. An absolute essential.
A modern gauze dressing infused with a hemostatic compound, designed for emergency situations and the quick stabilization of critical hemorrhages. Ideal for rescue missions, disaster response, and most importantly, combat scenarios. Proper training is necessary to ensure the dressing is used correctly and safely.
This dressing is a reliable option.
The special ingredients within the dressings - kaolin and sodium carboxymethylcellulose - induce hemostasis by sealing bleeding areas through the rapid formation of a clot upon blood contact. The clot establishes within approximately 2-3 minutes post-application and remains stable, even when the wound is rinsed with saline.
Featuring a germicidal property, the dressing does not provoke exothermic reactions, cause burns, or adhere to the wound. Kaolin and carboxymethylcellulose, as active agents, are extensively utilized in both the pharmaceutical and emergency sectors.
The application of kaolin and carboxymethylcellulose extends beyond the production of saline.
The sterile packaging includes one gauze strip measuring 7.5 x 370 cm.

When buying this product, I was hoping I wouldn't have to use it and that it would just expire, but unfortunately I needed it sooner than I expected. The dressing really works and can save a life. It's not worth using for minor scrapes, but when there is heavy bleeding, there is no need to hesitate – this is one of the best available solutions. If you don't have this particular one, a dressing with Celox will also work. It’s worth investing in such products.
