Boxmet Medical Chitogauze XR PRO Hemostatic dressing

Compressed gauze soaked in chitosan, with hemostatic properties allowing for quick staunching of life-threatening hemorrhages. Intended for use in first aid in combat conditions, disasters and rescue operations. Prior training is required for safe and effective use.

The dressing is characterized by its bactericidal effect, it does not cause exothermic reactions or burns, and its structure does not stick to the wound surface. The sterile packaging contains one 7.5 cm x 3.7 m gauze strip. The chitosan it contains initiates rapid blood clotting at the application site - the clot forms within 2-3 minutes and remains stable even after flushing the wound with saline. Designed for effectively stopping heavy bleeding. In addition, the gauze has been equipped with an X-ray marker, which makes it possible to locate it on X-ray images.
