The gloves are good, but they do not provide adequate protection for hands against sharp objects or plants. However, they are excellent for shooting and performing precise work.
Mechanix Wear M-Pact Tactical Leather Gloves
Versatile and exceptionally durable gloves, designed specifically for professional soldiers and special forces operators. Mechanix Wear gloves are the perfect choice for those who value lightweight, comfortable gloves that effectively protect the hand and provide a secure grip.
Durable DuraHide leather, TrekDry material
The inner part (grip side) and the upper part on the thumb and index finger are made of durable DuraHide leather, offering excellent abrasion resistance. The upper part is made of breathable TrekDry® material, which minimises hand perspiration. The cuff is secured with Velcro.
Hand protection, D30 material, TPR plastic panels
Protection for the grip side of the hand, metacarpus, fingers, and knuckles is provided by D3O® material and TPR panels (Thermal Plastic Rubber – thermoplastic rubber compliant with EN13594). They are perfect for protecting the hands from abrasions and impacts with surrounding objects. The segmented division of the panels allows for easy and free bending of the fingers.
Mechanix gloves are ideal for survival expeditions, car workshop work, DIY, as well as ASG or paintball games. Their functionality is also eagerly used by special forces operators.
Protection standards
The gloves meet the protective standard EN388 at level 4111XP in terms of resistance to mechanical risks, which means:
- 4: abrasion resistance (on a scale of 0–4)
- 1: cut resistance (on a scale of 0–5)
- 1: tear resistance (on a scale of 0–4)
- 1: puncture resistance (on a scale of 0–4)
- X: cut resistance – TDM test (ISO 13997) (on a scale of A–F)
- P: impact protection (test passed)
The scales specified in the EN388 standard define the level of glove protection: a value of 0 indicates no protection, while the highest values (4, 5) indicate the maximum level of resistance.
When testing using the TDM method (ISO 13997), letter markings are used, where A indicates the lowest level of protection and F the highest.
The X marking indicates that the given parameter was not tested or is not applicable. The P marking indicates that the glove meets the requirements for impact protection.

TPR, or thermoplastic rubbeTPR, or thermoplastic rubber, is a material that combines the properties of rubber and plastic. It is flexible and durable, and is often used in the manufacture of tool handles, gaskets, footwear, and many other products, as it provides comfort, good grip and wear resistance.r, is a type of synthetic material that combines the properties of rubber and plastic. TPR is characterized by its flexibility and abrasion resistance.
TrekDry is a modern material characterized by high breathability. It effectively wicks moisture away from the surface of the skin, which helps to keep it dry and thermally comfortable during intense physical activity. It fits to the shape of the hand, ensuring freedom of movement and increasing precision during various activities.
D3O is a modern material with intelligent molecules that move freely during normal use. However, at the moment of impact, they fuse together, absorbing and dispersing energy, then rapidly return to an elastic state. As a result, the material effectively reduces vibration, protects hands from injury and reduces hand strain while working.
Durahide DRY is a technology that uses specially treated Durahide natural leather. The treatment makes the leather waterproof while maintaining high breathability and flexibility.

Wonderful gloves, fit well on the hands, very well made, suitable for both combat tasks and training on the range. The quality is good, with quite durable inserts. Great gloves, you could say they're already classics.

The gloves are very durable and comfortable. They fit the hand perfectly, guarantee excellent protection, and at the same time do not restrict finger movement. They perform excellently both during use in the field and for technical work. They are made from high-quality materials.

I have used this model of gloves before and was very satisfied, but in the right glove the Velcro came off. That's why I bought another pair and I still enjoy using them during ASG games.

I also got these new MPact 1 gloves in black earlier this May. They're just what I wanted. I need these to wear with my new work uniforms.
