Mechanix Wear M-Pact Core 3 Covert Tactical Gloves - Black

Durable tactical gloves designed for basic mechanical protection of the hands. Thanks to their precise fit, they guarantee full grip control, allowing you to perform tasks that require high precision. Ideal for uniformed services, military personnel, shooting sports enthusiasts, as well as for survival, workshop work, DIY or airsoft games.

Synthetic leather, Rip-Stop weave, touchscreen compatible

The gloves are made of plastic and synthetic leather, which guarantees a secure grip in a variety of conditions. The upper part is made of waterproof Rip-Stop fabric, which prevents fraying and tearing of the material even in the event of local damage, and is also characterised by increased abrasion resistance. The Velcro cuff allows for a precise fit to the wrist. The grip area is made of durable 0.8 mm synthetic leather, which guarantees a secure grip and allows you to use touch screens without removing the gloves. The Lock Ring panel located in the thumb area protects this sensitive area, reinforces the construction and reduces the risk of damage to the seams. Additional ribbing on the index finger and thumb improves durability in these areas and increases grip precision.

TPR panels, impact-absorbing inserts, AirHammer padding

The outer part of the gloves is equipped with durable panels made of TPR (Thermal Plastic Rubber, compliant with EN 13594) material, which protect the hands from abrasion and impact with the environment – ideal for indoor conditions and CQB operations. The segmented panel layout allows for free bending of the fingers. The underside of the gloves features D3O inserts that absorb impact energy and vibrations in the metacarpal area. Additional AirHammer padding increases protection on the sides of the hands.

ANSI/ISEA 105-3XX and EN388-2121XP standards

The gloves meet the American protective standard ANSI/ISEA 105 at level 3XX in terms of cut, abrasion, and puncture resistance, which means:

  • 3: abrasion resistance (scale from 1 to 6)
  • X: cut resistance (scale from A1 to A9)
  • X: puncture resistance (scale from 0 to 5)

The gloves meet the protective standard EN388 at level 2121XP for mechanical hazard resistance, which means:

  • 2: abrasion resistance (scale 0–4)
  • 1: blade cut resistance (scale 0–5)
  • 2: tear resistance (scale 0–4)
  • 1: puncture resistance (scale 0–4)
  • X: cut resistance – TDM test (ISO 13997) (scale A–F)
  • P: impact protection (test passed)

In the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard, abrasion resistance is rated on a scale from 1 to 6 and refers to the number of cycles a material can withstand before wearing out. Cut resistance is classified on a scale from A1 to A9 (from the lowest to the highest level of protection). Puncture resistance is rated on a scale from 0 to 5 and indicates the force required to pierce the glove surface with a sharp probe (not applicable to needle punctures).

The scales defined in the EN388 standard indicate the level of glove protection: a value of 0 means no protection, while the highest values (4, 5) indicate the maximum resistance level.

In the TDM test method (ISO 13997), letter designations are used, where A represents the lowest level of protection and F the highest.

The symbol X indicates that the parameter was not tested or is not applicable. The symbol P indicates that the glove meets the requirements for impact protection.

Rip-Stop feature
Rip-Stop

Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.

TPR feature
TPR

TPR, or thermoplastic rubbeTPR, or thermoplastic rubber, is a material that combines the properties of rubber and plastic. It is flexible and durable, and is often used in the manufacture of tool handles, gaskets, footwear, and many other products, as it provides comfort, good grip and wear resistance.r, is a type of synthetic material that combines the properties of rubber and plastic. TPR is characterized by its flexibility and abrasion resistance.

D3O feature
D3O

D3O is a modern material with intelligent molecules that move freely during normal use. However, at the moment of impact, they fuse together, absorbing and dispersing energy, then rapidly return to an elastic state. As a result, the material effectively reduces vibration, protects hands from injury and reduces hand strain while working.

Lock Ring feature
Lock Ring
Lock Ring is a technology that reinforces the thumb area of the gloves through a welded panel without seams. It increases resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. Elimination of seams reduces the risk of tearing in sensitive areas. As a result, the gloves are more durable and perform better in harsh working conditions.
AirHammer feature
AirHammer
AirHammer is a technology developed by Mechanix Wear, based on a 2 mm insert made of D3O material, which effectively dissipates the force of impacts and mechanical vibrations. The insert has been ergonomically positioned in the metacarpus, side, and heel of the hand, increasing the shock-absorbing surface area and reducing fatigue during work. Thanks to the use of durable materials, AirHammer improves the comfort and durability of gloves in demanding environments.

The gloves are very professional. I use them for modern shooting and tactical exercises, which means my hands are better protected. The inner leather side stands out for its high quality, and the outer rubber inserts effectively protect against impacts. The price is quite high, but appropriate for the quality of the product. I definitely recommend them!

These are some of the best gloves available in terms of hand protection. The protectors on the fingers and knuckles are solid, yet do not restrict freedom of movement. The Pantera camouflage (pattern 93) variant will definitely appeal to those who like Polish uniforms – the pattern is faithfully reproduced and of very good quality. The gloves provide excellent grip and precise weapon handling, which is very important during tactical operations.

I am very satisfied with the M-pacts. Admittedly, I don't use them for shooting, but for cycling. They have already protected my hands several times, and the impact-absorbing panels do not hinder everyday use at all.

I have the original gloves of the same brand and while they are excellent they don’t really do much to protect your fingers if you use them while playing airsoft so I purchased these and they have worked really well at protecting my hands from BB impacts. I was also worried about the moulded bits getting in the way of the trigger guard but that’s not been a problem. Sizing is great also and the size I ordered after measuring my hand fit perfectly.

Very comfortable to wear. Not too thick, not too thin. The ankles and finger joints are also well protected against airsoft hits. The only thing that personally bothers me is the size, I have slightly thicker fingers (a cuddlier build), and with size L the glove fits like a glove, but the length of the fingers... there's almost a whole centimetre of extra length in the glove. Maybe one or two intermediate sizes could have been made. Would buy again!

When it comes to hand protection, especially the outside part, these gloves perform brilliantly. I have tested them and the rubber inserts absorb shocks very well. They are additionally reinforced on the inside. I recommend them for tasks that require specialist equipment.

I am quite satisfied with the Mpact Mechanix gloves. They fit well, provide good grip, and thanks to the rubber, they protect your fingers from painful shots in airsoft. The only thing is, the index finger and thumb still need to be protected by plastic, but that would probably restrict freedom of movement.

Very good gloves, Mechanix M-Pact is a true classic in its category. The palm is additionally reinforced, and the back is protected with thick rubber pads, except for the index finger so as not to hinder weapon handling. They fasten with a Velcro cuff. The gloves are quite spacious – they work best for people with larger hands.

If you need durable gloves for airsoft, shooting, survival or outdoor work, the Mechanix Wear M-Pact is truly a good choice. The main advantage is the comfort of wearing combined with solid hand protection. The TPR rubber pads effectively protect the knuckles from impacts, while the D3O inserts absorb shocks and accidental bruises well. Despite the reinforcements, the gloves are flexible enough, so the grip is stable and precise. Touchscreen compatibility is a practical advantage, appreciated on a daily basis. Another plus is the Polish wz.93 Pantera camouflage, which matches military and outdoor equipment perfectly. The downside is rather poor protection against cold – these are gloves mainly for mechanical protection, not for frosty conditions. In summary, this is a strong and proven product with a good price-to-quality ratio, which receives positive reviews from users.

I use these gloves for practically everything: in the garden, in the forest, at the shooting range. After one and a half years of intensive use, a few holes have appeared, but considering how much they’ve been used, it’s really not much. I bought them thinking they’d wear out quickly, but they’re still holding up well. I honestly recommend them to anyone who needs solid gloves.

The gloves provide effective protection thanks to the reinforcements used, and the materials they are made from are highly durable. Additionally, special inserts on the thumb and index finger allow you to use your phone without taking the gloves off.

These tactical gloves are really solid. Mechanix M-Pact effectively protect your hands, especially thanks to the additional protection on the fingers and knuckles. They are comfortable to wear, do not hinder your grip, and work well both during airsoft and outdoors. The MultiCam pattern looks very good and matches well with other equipment. They are definitely worth choosing.

Very good gloves, the price is fully justified. I have been using Mechanix gloves for 8 years during CQB in abandoned facilities and occasionally for urbex, and I wouldn’t choose any others. I highly recommend them.
