Mechanix Wear M-Pact Tactical Gloves - Gray

Durable tactical gloves designed for basic mechanical protection of the hands. Thanks to their precise fit, they guarantee full control over the grip, which allows you to perform tasks requiring high precision. Ideal for uniformed services, military personnel, shooting sports enthusiasts, as well as for survival, workshop work, DIY or airsoft games.

Armortex material, synthetic leather, touchscreen support

They are made of Armortex fabric and synthetic leather, which provide grip to the hand and prevent slippage on slippery surfaces. The upper part of the gloves is made of breathable, lightweight TrekDry material, which reduces sweating in the hand. The cuff is fastened with velcro. Synthetic leather sewn onto the top of the index finger and thumb allows you to operate touchscreen devices without removing the gloves.

TPR panels, impact-absorbing inserts

On the outer layer of the gloves are heavy-duty panels made of TPR (Thermal Plastic Rubber - a thermoplastic rubber conforming to EN 13594) to protect against abrasions and impacts of the hands against elements of the external environment - they will prove useful in buildings and CQB conditions. Dividing the panels into segments allows easy flexing of the fingers. The underside of the gloves is equipped with D3O® inserts to absorb impact energy and vibration in the metacarpal area.

EN388-2121XP Protection standard

The gloves meet the protective standard EN388 level 2121XP in terms of mechanical resistance, which means:

  • 2: abrasion resistance (scale 0-4)
  • 1: cut resistance (scale 0-5)
  • 2: tear resistance (scale 0-4)
  • 1: puncture resistance (scale 0-4)
  • X: cut resistance - TDM test (ISO 13997) (scale A-F)
  • P: impact protection (test passed)

The scales provided in the EN388 standard define the level of protection of the gloves: the value 0 means no protection, while the highest values (4, 5) indicate the maximum level of resistance.

When testing with the TDM method (ISO 13997), letter markings are used, where A represents the lowest protection, and F represents the highest protection.

The marking X indicates that the given parameter was not tested or does not apply. The marking P indicates that the glove meets the impact protection requirements.

    I must admit that these gloves, as well as two other models, really disappointed me. The price is quite high, so I expected much better quality, but unfortunately that was not the case. Above all, both pairs didn’t even last three months of use as a courier – they started to tear and wear out very quickly, although I have to admit that when they are new, they are very comfortable. Additionally, I also bought another Impact model in black on promotion and there was also a tear on the finger, even though I used the gloves much less intensively – only a few weekends working with wood and on the car since purchase. I wonder where is the quality I’m paying such a high price for. Would I buy again? Honestly, I’m not sure and I’d have to seriously think about it.

    These are simply Mechanix M-Pact gloves. They are very durable. I especially recommend them for tactical exercises, where you often have to support yourself on the ground with your hands while getting up and going prone – the reinforcements on the inner side do their job excellently.

    Very good gloves, as is usually the case with products from Mechanix. The additional layer of material in the middle of the palm definitely increases the durability of the gloves. The rubber protection on the fingers and knuckles absorbs impacts very well.

    Mechanix tactical gloves are made from high-quality materials, and I use them at the shooting range. They protect hands and knuckles well, are comfortable, and do not restrict precise movements.     I have the original gloves of the same brand and while they are excellent they don’t really do much to protect your fingers if you use them while playing airsoft so I purchased these and they have worked really well at protecting my hands from BB impacts. I was also worried about the moulded bits getting in the way of the trigger guard but that’s not been a problem. Sizing is great also and the size I ordered after measuring my hand fit perfectly.

    These gloves are comfortable and wear well. They are sturdily stitched and pleasant to the touch, even though synthetic material was used. Shooting with various ASG replica models is comfortable in them. They look very impressive with black clothing.
