The quality of workmanship is at a high level. Unfortunately, the cut makes the gloves wide on the hand and there is little feel for the weapon. The advantage is the external protectors – they would work well for airsoft if they fit better and had a different colour, because black is noticeable in the forest.
Mechanix Wear M-Pact 2 Tactical Gloves - Covert Black
M-Pact 2 – a reinforced version of the M-Pact model, even more durable in extreme conditions. Designed for soldiers and special forces operators. Mechanix Wear gloves are an excellent choice for those who value lightness, comfort, effective hand protection, and a secure grip.
Armotex fabric, synthetic leather, and TrekDry
The grip of the gloves is made of Armortex® fabric and synthetic leather, which ensures a secure grip and prevents slipping. The inside of four fingers and the wrist area are additionally reinforced with synthetic leather. The upper part of the gloves is made of lightweight, breathable TrekDry fabric, which reduces sweating.
Strong, adjustable clasp made of TPR
The adjustable cuff is fastened with a TPR strap (thermoplastic rubber compliant with EN 13594) using Velcro, ensuring a secure fit and stability.
EVA foam, TPR panels, D30 inserts
Protection for the palm and wrist (on the extended cuff) is provided by a high-density EVA foam layer. The four fingers feature durable panels made of TPR (English: Thermal Plastic Rubber - thermoplastic rubber compliant with EN 13594 standard), divided into three segments with flexible gaps, facilitating finger movement. The underside of the gloves includes D3O inserts that absorb impact energy and vibrations around the palm. This construction protects the hand from abrasions and impacts, making it effective in buildings and CQB conditions.
Protection standard EN388-2111XP
The gloves meet the protective standard EN388-2111XP for resistance to mechanical actions which means:
- 2: abrasion resistance (on a scale of 0-4)
- 1: cut resistance (on a scale of 0-5)
- 1: tear resistance (on a scale of 0-4)

The size fits well. Materials and workmanship are of a very high standard. After a short but very intensive use, the gloves seem very durable. I took part in a full-day IPSC Shotgun competition in them on a hot day and did not feel any discomfort. They protect hands from injuries very well.

These are probably my favourite gloves from Mechanix. I use them for fencing sparring – they protect the hands very well, do not restrict movement, and nothing catches on them. I’ve tested many models, but these are definitely the best.

Gloves purchased a year ago unfortunately wore out and the stitches came undone after only a few uses. They were replaced under warranty, but the second pair also turned out to be faulty. For this price, their durability should be much better. Unfortunately – I do not recommend them and regret spending the money.

Gloves purchased a year ago quickly wore out and ripped. After replacement under warranty, the second pair was also poor. At this price, the durability should be better. Waste of money, do not recommend.
-
Solid and comfortable gloves. A big advantage is the rubberised inner side, which ensures great grip. I recommend them.
-
Mechanix, as always, offers excellent quality workmanship.
-
The gloves are very warm and durable – excellent for bushcraft expeditions. However, due to the reinforcements, it is worth choosing a larger size. I recommend them.

The gloves are thicker than the original M-Pact, but they protect a larger part of the hand better. They are quite comfortable, do not restrict movement, and have good ventilation. Durability is hard to judge – so far, they haven't worn out, but a few stitches have already come undone. The main photo shows an older version of the glove.

They are thicker than the original M-Pact and cover a larger area of the hand. Quite comfortable, do not restrict movement, well ventilated. It's hard to judge durability yet – they haven't worn through, but a few seams have come undone. The main photo shows the older version.

I gave five stars because the gloves meet my expectations. Solidly made, they last about a year of intensive use (just like M-pact 3). The description is also accurate, except for one thing – in my opinion, touchscreen support leaves much to be desired.

I gave a five-star rating, because the gloves met my expectations. Well-made, they last for about a year of intensive use (the previous M-pact 3 lasted that long). The description is accurate, except for the poor touchscreen function.
-
I admit five stars because the gloves meet my expectations. They are solidly made, and the shop description is accurate. The only downside is poor touchscreen operation.
-
I give the highest rating, because the gloves met my expectations. The workmanship is at a good level, and the product description matches reality. The only downside is poor touchscreen handling.
