The quality of workmanship is at a high level. Unfortunately, the cut makes the gloves wide on the hand and there is poor feel for the weapon. An advantage is the external protectors – they would work for airsoft if they fit better and came in a different color, because black stands out in the forest.
Mechanix Wear M-Pact 2 Tactical Gloves - Covert Black
M-Pact 2 – a reinforced version of the M-Pact model, even more durable in extreme conditions. Designed for soldiers and special forces operators. Mechanix Wear gloves are an excellent choice for those who value lightness, comfort, effective hand protection, and a secure grip.
Armotex fabric, synthetic leather, and TrekDry
The grip of the gloves is made of Armortex® fabric and synthetic leather, which ensures a secure grip and prevents slipping. The inside of four fingers and the wrist area are additionally reinforced with synthetic leather. The upper part of the gloves is made of lightweight, breathable TrekDry fabric, which reduces sweating.
Strong, adjustable clasp made of TPR
The adjustable cuff is fastened with a TPR strap (thermoplastic rubber compliant with EN 13594) using Velcro, ensuring a secure fit and stability.
EVA foam, TPR panels, D30 inserts
Protection for the palm and wrist (on the extended cuff) is provided by a high-density EVA foam layer. The four fingers feature durable panels made of TPR (English: Thermal Plastic Rubber - thermoplastic rubber compliant with EN 13594 standard), divided into three segments with flexible gaps, facilitating finger movement. The underside of the gloves includes D3O inserts that absorb impact energy and vibrations around the palm. This construction protects the hand from abrasions and impacts, making it effective in buildings and CQB conditions.
Protection standard EN388-2111XP
The gloves meet the protective standard EN388-2111XP for resistance to mechanical actions which means:
- 2: abrasion resistance (on a scale of 0-4)
- 1: cut resistance (on a scale of 0-5)
- 1: tear resistance (on a scale of 0-4)

The size is well matched. Materials and workmanship are at a very high level. After a short but very intense use, the gloves seem very durable. I participated in all-day IPSC Shotgun competitions in them on a hot day and did not feel discomfort. They protect hands perfectly from injuries.

These are probably my favorite gloves from Mechanix. I use them for fencing sparring – they protect hands very well, don't limit movement, and nothing catches on them. I’ve tested many models, but these are definitely the best.

I bought the gloves a year ago, but unfortunately they wore out and the seams came undone after a few uses. They were replaced under warranty, but the second pair was also defective. For the price, their durability should be much better. Unfortunately – I do not recommend them and regret the money spent.

I bought the gloves a year ago; they quickly wore out and tore apart. After a warranty replacement, the second pair was also weak. For the price, the durability should be better. Waste of money, I do not recommend them.
-
Sturdy and comfortable gloves. A big advantage is the rubber grip on the inside, which provides excellent adhesion. I recommend them.
-
Mechanix, as always, offers excellent workmanship quality.
-
The gloves are very warm and durable – great for bushcraft trips. However, due to the reinforcements, it's worth choosing a larger size. I recommend them.
-
The gloves are thicker than the original M-Pact, but they protect a larger part of the hand better. They are quite comfortable, do not restrict movement, and have good ventilation. It's hard to assess durability – so far they haven't worn through, but a few seams have already come undone. The main photo shows an older version of the glove.

They are thicker than the original M-Pact and cover a larger area of the hand. Quite comfortable, don't restrict movement, well ventilated. Durability is hard to assess yet – no holes, but a few seams have given way. The main photo shows the older version.

I gave five stars because the gloves meet my expectations. Well-made, they last about a year of heavy use (just like M-Pact 3). The description is also accurate, except for one thing—in my opinion, touchscreen usability leaves much to be desired.

I gave five stars because the gloves met my expectations. Well made, lasted about a year of intensive use (my previous M-Pact 3 lasted that long). The description is accurate, except for the weak touchscreen functionality.

I give five stars because the gloves meet my expectations. They are well-made, and the store description is accurate. The only drawback is weak touchscreen performance.
-
I give the highest rating because the gloves meet my expectations. The quality is good and the product description reflects reality. The downside is weak support for touchscreens.
