Maskpol TM-07 Pouch for small magazine - MAPA
The pouch is made of durable Cordura 560 in MAPA camouflage. Equipped with elastic pulls, it enables the safe carrying of smaller magazines of various models. The interior has been finished with an anti-slip insert to prevent the magazine from slipping out uncontrolled.

The contents of the pouch are protected from above by an elastic cord ending in an ergonomic handle for quick access. Attachment to the belt or elements of the equipment is carried out by means of a mounting strap, compatible with the MOLLE system.
MAPA camouflage
The MAPA camouflage pattern was designed by Maciej Dojlitko, a graduate and currently a researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, the author of, among other publications, Theory of Deconstruction of Visual Communication. Tools for designing military camouflage (Gdańsk 2015). The innovative design, supported by convincing theoretical and experimental arguments, including computer analysis of thousands of photographs of the terrain, attracted the attention of specialists and military clothing manufacturers. In 2017, the MAPA camouflage made its debut at the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce as a camouflage pattern for the Dromader system of accouterment and uniforms by Maskpol, which is part of the Polish Armaments Group. The system was created for soldiers of the Territorial Defense Army, but the MAPA camouflage itself was also considered as a perspective pattern for the entire Polish Armed Forces, where it could replace the wz.93 camouflage. Unfortunately, the MAPA camouflage has not been implemented to date as an official camouflage pattern of the Polish Army.
The main features of MAPA camouflage in the basic forest variant:
- 6 colors forming layers resembling levels on a map,
- colors optimized for operations in the forests of Central Europe,
- use of the illusion of three-dimensionality and anamorphosis effect,
- biomorphic shapes making the design similar to vegetation,
- strongly contrasting elements imitating flashes of light and shadows,
- deformation of the masked silhouette using macro pattern,
- color noise reproduced by means of a micro pattern.
The MAPA pattern is an interesting alternative to the best contemporary camouflage patterns such as PenCott, MultiCam, Kryptek, Flecktarn or Finnish M/05. In some respects it is more advanced than them, and also better reproduces the colors found in Central European forests in the period from later spring to early autumn.

I use this pouch in MAPA camouflage and it seems to me that this is the only case where the camo is cheaper than the olive version. The pouch is definitely worth its price. An additional safeguard has been applied to prevent the loss of the magazine.

The price is attractive and the product is well-made. The downside is the difficulty in removing the rubber bands. I also think it could be a bit stiffer, but overall it does its job. The price-to-quality ratio is favourable.

There is a large selection of pouches on the market, which makes the choice difficult... I was convinced by the Polish brand and the interesting camouflage pattern. I am happy with the quality and practicality! I plan to complete the entire set. Highly recommended!

High quality. The Glock magazine sits very tight, so I don't think the cords are necessary for short magazines, but it's good they're included in the set.
