LED version of the classic American torch for 2 AA-type "stick" batteries. Combining the proven design of the legendary Maglite company with a modern 3-watt LED emitter. Note - the version with a powerful CREE LED! Longer light duration, longer range!
Thanks to the electronic regulation of current flow, the decrease in light output as the battery runs out is much less noticeable. The torch has two light modes: a higher one with a brightness of 245 lumens and a range of 150 meters, and a lower one, which is useful for everyday use and saves energy.
In the higher mode, the torch will shine for about 2h15min, the lower mode provides operation for about 27 hours.

I have not found another torch as robust with 245 lumens that runs for 2.5 hours on regular AAs. (The new model in the USA has 351 lumens, but it’s unavailable in Europe). It's worth comparing with Nitecore or Olight running on two AAs – for me, there’s nothing better. Nitecore and Olight make good torches on 18650, but that battery costs extra, and CR123s are neither cheap nor easy to get. That’s all...

The best torch at this price. High build quality, it's hard to find Nitecore or Olight torches using AA batteries that match its performance, and you can buy AA batteries anywhere. Comes with a solid case and two spare batteries. Excellent gift choice.

A survival torch that deserves a medal – compact, solid and tactical. It will perform in any situation, has a strong light and is very durable. Metal housing without buttons, I haven't noticed any flaws!

Very durable, bright torch for night outings. The only flaw is the sometimes unreliable switching system.

The torch works well – it gives a lot of light, is comfortable and handy. The only downside is the switching system: you turn the head, so it turns on in the pocket by itself and drains the batteries.
