M-Tac Steel Mug with Folding Handle - 450 ml

I’m lowering my rating due to poor sealing in the mug – with the very first use of one of the two mugs, soup spilled out. I recommend carefully checking your mug before first use to avoid burning yourself. Of four similar mugs bought from militaria shops, I had this problem with two, so in my opinion there’s as much as a 50% risk, and I warn about this. If the checked item works, there’s still slight anxiety that the seal might fail, but generally it does its job.

A 450 ml mug has a foldable double handle, so it takes up little space in a backpack and is easy to transport. Made of stainless steel, it allows you to safely heat liquids over an open fire. It's great.

The mug is solidly made and seems very durable. It's nice that there is a measuring scale – it's very useful. A Trangia stove fits inside with space to spare, and the 86 mm diameter allows you to fit many bottles. It's a pity that at this price it doesn't have a lid – then it would be perfect, but as it is, it's still very good.

Very nice mug. Thanks to the folding handle, it easily fits in a backpack. I recommend getting a case so you don't dirty your things with soot from the campfire. The handle doesn't get hot, so you can drink directly from the mug and you don't need to use gloves. I recommend it!

I have been using this mug for a long time. It's solid and durable. Recently, taking advantage of a promotion, I bought two more to avoid arguments at camp over who gets their coffee first. My wife is delighted. It's really a strong and durable mug.

The mug has the perfect size – it's not too big, but sufficiently capacious. The long handles do not get hot, so using the mug is comfortable. The folded handles do not fit perfectly against the mug, but that's a minor detail, especially at this price. You can fit a spirit stove or a one-litre bottle inside, which makes packing easier. At this price, it's definitely worth buying.

This was my first bushcraft mug, which I bought almost a year ago. It’s handy and durable, great for preparing meals. Over time, I realised a lid would be useful, but the mug itself is really very good.

The mug is great – it works perfectly both on gas stoves and over a small campfire. The handle does not get hot during cooking, and it can be easily folded for transport. Cleaning the mug is also not a problem.

It lacks a lid... but maybe that's because the smallest screw-threaded gas canister fits perfectly when placed upside down (in my case along with a mini BIC, folding spork, the smallest BRS stove and drink sachets).

The mug looks very sturdy, the design is well thought-out so it doesn’t take up much space. The folding double handle is also a big plus. The scale makes it easy to measure liquids accurately.
