A handy and lightweight compass with a case made of high-quality aluminum. It will work well for map use thanks to its 1:50000 scale side graduation.

The directional dial is immersed in liquid, so you can use the compass while running or walking. The thin wire front sight and the rear sight with magnifying glass allow you to carry out very accurate bearings, and phosphorescent markings make it easy to navigate in the twilight.

A solid lockable aluminum housing covers the compass glass, protecting it from scratches or breakage.

The compass is worth its price. It has a durable aluminium housing and works well when using a map. Cons: the phosphorescent needle is barely visible, best only in complete darkness. The compass needs 10-12 seconds to stabilise, so using it while running is difficult. Personally, I miss having a magnetic needle lock.
