M-Tac Elite Protective Collar for ballistic inserts - MultiCam

Collar for ballistic inserts, designed to effectively protect the neck and upper back from shrapnel. Thanks to its appropriate shape, the design does not interfere with the use of other equipment elements, providing optimal freedom of head movement even when using hearing protectors.

The module is made from durable 500D Cordura in MultiCam camouflage, characterised by high resistance to mechanical damage, wear, and loads. On the inner side of the shoulder part, there is a spacer mesh that reduces pressure and provides optimal breathability.

The collar consists of two parts fastened with Velcro. The neck-protecting part is mounted to the chest panel of tactical vests using the MOLLE system, while the rear shield is fastened to the shoulder area with velcro strips. The design allows for the front element to be detached and only the shoulder section to be used. In such a situation, the neck part can be attached to the front of the tactical vest.

The front section protects the neck from the front, while the rear covers the shoulders, neck, and trapezius muscle. The module's design guarantees protection from the top edge of the chest plate to the rear part of the vest, simultaneously protecting the sides of the shoulder straps.

The model includes a Velcro panel that allows for attaching any patches, such as a national flag, unit emblem, or so-called Morale Patches.

MultiCam is a state-of-the-art camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by US company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a versatile camouflage pattern that is effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown and beige. As a result, it dynamically adapts to the background, adopting shades of green in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert regions - in Central and Eastern European environments, it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as the camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military or airsoft enthusiasts.
