M-Tac Elite Protective Collar for ballistic inserts - MultiCam

Collar for ballistic inserts designed for effective protection of the neck and upper back from shrapnel. Thanks to the appropriately profiled design, it does not interfere with other gear, providing optimal freedom of head movement, even when wearing hearing protectors.

The module is made of durable 500D Cordura in MultiCam camouflage, characterized by excellent resistance to mechanical damage, wear, and load. On the inner side of the shoulder part, spacer mesh is used to reduce pressure and ensure excellent ventilation.

The collar consists of 2 elements fastened with Velcro. The neck part is mounted to the chest panel using the MOLLE system of tactical vests, and the rear protection is attached to the shoulder area with straps with sewn-in Velcro. The design allows for the removal of the front element and using only the shoulder section. The neck part can then be mounted folded on the front of the tactical vest.

The front section protects the neck at the front, while the rear covers the shoulders, neck, and trapezius muscle. The module's design provides protection from the upper edge of the chest plate to the rear part of the vest, additionally shielding the sides of the shoulder straps.

This model is equipped with a Velcro panel allowing the attachment of any patches or emblems, such as national flags, unit insignia, or so-called Morale Patches.

MultiCam, developed in 2002 by the US company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs), is a cutting-edge camouflage pattern. Created as part of the Objective Force Warrior program, the aim was to design a highly adaptable camouflage effective across diverse terrains and fluctuating environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern comprises seven colors, with gradient transitions among shades of green, brown, and beige. This enables it to adapt to various backgrounds, integrating green tones in wooded areas and browns and beiges in desert landscapes. It is particularly suitable for Central and Eastern European settings during autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has received global acclaim and is utilized by numerous military forces and special units. In 2010, the US Army officially adopted this camouflage for soldiers in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also accessible to civilians, making it popular among military or airsoft enthusiasts.
