The Morale Patch is made of durable and abrasion-resistant PVC material. The emblem is equipped with one-sided Velcro, which makes it easy to place on a velcro panel on a uniform, cap, pouch or backpack.

Morale Patch patches are worn by soldiers and other services alongside patches specific to their own unit to "boost morale." They are a kind of identifying and unifying element for the group and are part of soldier humor.
