M-Tac 3-sections Modular Insert - Ranger Green

The insert is well made. I bought a few of these accessories for my Helikon backpack along with the Helikon Organiser, which allows you to personalise the backpack according to your own preferences. It's a very good solution. The smaller loops are suitable for a pen, and the larger one for a small torch.

The insert holds small items well. Even with heavy use, there is no risk of the multitool or torch getting lost in the backpack. Even after being stretched hard, the elastics retain their shape and tension. Definitely recommended!

The hook-and-loop fastener is as small as stated and, although it looks unimpressive, it holds well. The elastic bands seem a bit too small and stiff. They're fine for holding a pen or a chemical light on a backpack, but in my opinion the price is a bit too high.

It takes up little space, but... The narrow elastics don't fit a fountain pen, and you have to force a pen in. The wider elastic band is the right size and that's where I now keep my things. It's a pity, because the product is nice and small, and it's almost perfect. Fortunately, the price is low, so it's worth buying and checking for yourself.

M-Tac 3-section modular insert - Black - As others have written, the elastic pockets are quite narrow. The thinner ones are suitable for a pen, the wider ones for a marker, but that's exactly what I wanted. I recommend it :)

Great gadget. The hook-and-loop fastener holds firmly. I attached it to my jacket sleeve and use it, for example, to carry my glasses. You can also store a pen, chemical lights, or a slim torch in it (unfortunately, anything larger than 25 mm won't fit), or a shotgun shell.

The product is of good quality, but its usefulness is average. The larger elastic fits a thick marker, while the small elastics are only suitable for something like a pen. Putting a tightly rolled disposable glove into the small elastic requires effort, and you can't fit two. It will work for a pencil or zip, but otherwise it's rather not very useful. My only complaint is about practicality – one star less.

The loops in this organiser are too narrow. In the larger one, you can maybe fit a Bic-type lighter, while the narrower ones only fit a pencil or AAA battery. Carrying a tactical pen is impossible.

As usual with m-tac, the insert is made aesthetically and from high-quality materials. It's perfect for carrying my everyday essentials – a lighter and a small Gerber multitool. At this price, I definitely recommend it.

It works perfectly for items such as a pen, pencil, or torch. It is very comfortable to use. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone, as it is really worth having.

The insert is carefully made, the Velcro holds tightly and the elastics are durable and flexible. The torch, pen, and pencil stay in place and do not move around in the bag.

Solid workmanship. I bought several of these inserts for the Helikon RAT 1.8 waist bag along with the Helikon Insert Medium Organizer and M-Tac two-section inserts. Thanks to this, you can adapt the waist bag to your own needs. Very practical solution. The smaller loops are great for a pen, and the larger one for a small AA torch.

Very practical modular insert, I combined it with another by Velcro – the M-Tac 2-section modular insert from militaria.pl – and got a pleasant, small organiser for a waist bag for a lighter, pen, torch, penknife, and mini multitool.

Very helpful for small repairs and DIY tasks.
