A filtering system with a 20-litre capacity, equipped with an efficient three-stage filtration system using a membrane designed for purifying water from sources such as lakes, rivers, streams, brooks and other water reservoirs of unknown origin. This solution allows quick and easy access to drinking water during camping, trekking, travelling, and extended outdoor expeditions.

The tank is made from BPA-free materials that meet safety standards for contact with potable water. Its robust construction ensures resilience to intensive use, while the option to refill reduces the need for single-use plastic bottles. The generous 20-litre capacity makes it possible to supply a substantial amount of purified water for larger groups, and the manual pressurised system means you’re not dependent on electricity or gravity filtration.

The three-stage water purification system combines a pre-filter, a membrane ultrafilter with 0.02-micron pores, and an integrated activated carbon filter with an ion-exchange filter. This system effectively removes viruses, bacteria, parasites, microplastics, sand and other mechanical contaminants that compromise water quality. The added activated carbon filter efficiently reduces levels of chlorine, lead and organic compounds, while also improving the taste and odour of the water. The product meets the requirements of US EPA and NSF American standards for the quality of drinking water filtration.

LifeStraw’s membrane ultrafilter technology uses bundles of microfibres with extremely fine pores to block harmful microorganisms and impurities while allowing purified water to flow freely. The manual pressurised system delivers more than 1 litre of purified water per minute. The membrane ultrafilter remains effective for up to 18,000 litres of filtered water, while the activated carbon and ion-exchange filters last for around 600 litres. An integrated safety valve protects the tank from excessive pressure build-up, and the included syringe makes it easy to rinse and maintain high filtration performance over time.
