Ultrasonic waves attack the auditory system and negatively affect the nervous system of all types of rodents and insects. As a result, they leave their hiding places within the device’s operating range. The waves are inaudible to humans and most domestic animals such as dogs, cats, fish, birds, and livestock.
The device operates at automatically changing frequencies ranging from 25 KHz to 65 KHz. It protects an area of up to 550 m² depending on layout. It does not interfere with TVs, radios, alarm systems, smoke and fire detectors, or other electronic devices.
Modes of operation
Duo Pro has 3 operating modes:
- DUO – intermittent variable frequency waves emitted from two speakers and a transducer
- TRANS – variable frequency waves emitted by the transducer system
- ULTRA – intermittent pulsed waves emitted by the dual speaker system
Additionally, it includes a TEST function that emits a sound within the human hearing range to verify device operation.
The device should remain plugged in continuously. Results will be noticeable after a few days. Rodents and insects will be repelled. New ones may appear later, as the device does not affect eggs or larvae. The area will be fully cleared after 4–6 weeks.
