Hytera BP515LF DMR PMR Radio

Radio operating in both digital and analogue modes, compatible with other analogue PMR446 systems and radios in the DMR Tier I standard. DMR technology allows for two independent conversations on the same channel simultaneously.

Digital and analogue channels

256 digital and analogue channels located in 4 zones enable easy group communication. The BP515LF model has an intelligent algorithm with adjustable noise reduction on three levels. A high-power speaker guarantees excellent sound quality. Signal range and call quality are enhanced by a sensitive receiver module and an efficient monopole antenna.

Battery power, USB-C port

The device is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 1500 mAh, providing up to 18 hours of operation without recharging. The USB-C port allows the radio to be charged, for example, from a power bank. Voice prompts inform about the use of programmable buttons or channel changes.

Standards

The radio meets the requirements of the military standard MIL-STD-810 G, ensuring durability in extreme conditions. IP54 rating(protection against dust ingress and splashes and light rain from various directions).

I once wrote a review, but I don't see it now. The radio is very lightweight, easy to use and program. It's worth buying a cable with software, which can also be found on the Militaria website. The sound is very clear. Please note, this is a TIER1 model, not dPMR, so it supports analogue PMR446 frequencies. You need to set them to the same frequencies in both analogue and digital mode, the other settings according to your preference. The radio doesn't have a switch between analogue and DMR modes – it works automatically, switching between them as needed. It has one programmable button, which can be assigned to two different functions (from several available options). In my opinion, it's better to pay extra for proven legal quality than to risk potential problems by buying cheaper DMR 2/70 radios.
