I once wrote a review, but I do not see it now. The radio is very lightweight, easy to use and program. It is worth buying a cable with software, which can also be found on the Militaria website. The sound is very clear. Let me remind you, this is the TIER1 model, not dPMR, so it supports analog PMR446 frequencies. You need to set them to the same frequencies in both analog and digital modes, other settings according to your preferences. The radio does not have a switch between analog and DMR modes – it works automatically, switching between them as needed. It has one programmable button that can be assigned to two different functions (from several available options). In my opinion, it's better to pay extra for proven legal quality than to risk potential problems by buying cheaper DMR 2/70 radios.
Hytera BP515LF DMR PMR Radio
Radio operating in both digital and analog modes, compatible with other analog PMR446 systems and DMR Tier I standard radios. DMR technology allows for two independent conversations on the same channel simultaneously.
Digital and Analog Channels
256 digital and analog channels arranged in 4 zones allow for easy group communication. The BP515LF model has an intelligent algorithm with adjustable noise reduction on three levels. A high-power speaker guarantees excellent sound quality. Signal range and call quality are enhanced by a sensitive receiver module and an efficient monopole antenna.
Battery Power, USB-C Port
The device is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 1500 mAh, providing up to 18 hours of operation without charging. The USB-C port allows for radio charging, for example, from a power bank. Voice prompts inform about the use of programmable buttons or channel changes.
Standards
The radio meets the requirements of military standard MIL-STD-810 G, ensuring durability in extreme conditions. IP54 rating
