I ordered these trousers specifically for hiking. For now, my budget does not allow me to get more expensive and more durable trousers, but these are, let's say, quite decent. They fit quite well, and I like that they have hook-and-loop fastening. There are pockets for knee pad inserts. The material looks fairly durable, although it is not ripstop. Overall, I am satisfied.

I am very satisfied with these trousers; everything is comfortable, nothing pulls or pinches, and they allow complete freedom of movement. I really like the colour. They are just right for autumn and spring. For walks in the woods, they are exactly what you need! I have several pairs in different colours. Helikon offers an attractive price for such trousers. The pockets are convenient and roomy. Instead of a button, there is Velcro, which is very comfortable to use.

These trousers are a bit heavier than the Blizzard model. They are better suited to intensive use in the woods and around the campfire. The only issue remains choosing the right size. At 193 cm tall and 105 kg, I always chose XXL, and in the polycotton versions everything fitted well. However, with polyester trousers, regardless of the brand, the legs are too short for me. Here it was similar — according to the size chart, XXL Long was supposed to be too long, but unfortunately I still had to choose the Long version. As a result, I will have to wear them very low on the hips.

Great trouser for three-season outdoor jobs. I wasn't familiar with the full Helikon-Tex range, but after watching some YouTube reviews, I decided to give them a try and ordered a pair of these Woodsman pants. I bought the grey and black version —a colour scheme I usually wear for outdoor activities— which happened to be on sale. After receiving and testing them, I feel they are great for my needs: well made, tough and durable. The cut, the fit, the velcro waist fastening, the amount of belt loops and the YKK zippers... are all great features, all at an unbeatable price while on sale. The only thing I miss in these pants is the rear pockets. At 1.84 m and 90 kg, size XL fits ok.

Very good outdoor trousers with a good cut, trouser legs of reasonable width, very comfortable front pockets, practical pockets at the back and on the side, many loops for hanging tools, robust materials. The only thing I miss is the elastic at the back of the waistband, as with many Helikon-tex trousers. All in all, a purchase recommendation from me.

This is already the 2nd pair of trousers from Helikon Tex that I have bought. One in Coyote and the other in grey. Perfect workmanship and the material is superb. At 1.75 m and 84 kg, size L fits perfectly. I also bought the knee pads. In terms of value for money, Helikon is the best brand. Would be happy to buy again, Military EU Shop is unique. Keep it up!!

I've finally tried out a pair of Helikon-Tex Woodsman trousers. The fabric is excellent and they are comfortable to wear (no issues like skin irritation from the seams, for example). However, I do regret two things: there are no thigh pockets and there is no way to tighten the waist. Using a belt doesn't necessarily allow you to tighten the waist enough. Nonetheless, I do recommend them, especially at the sale price.

I am very happy with these trousers I use them everyday for walking my dog as I don't want to use my more expensive trousers during the muddy winter months. They are not the warmest trousers I own and on windy days you can feel the wind blowing right through them but for the price its hard to complain. I have always washed them inside out using the coldest setting using grangers active wash and they have retained their colour really well.

I have mixed feelings about these trousers: on one hand, they have several important advantages, but on the other, they also have significant drawbacks. I rate them 3 stars, considering the regular price. Advantages include: good cut, attractive appearance, legs of reasonable width, very comfortable front pockets, practical pockets at the back and on the side (useful, for example, for a knife), plenty of loops for hanging tools (though why so many as four, since the belt loops are sturdy?), noticeable material durability, a nice bushcraft-style logo, and the colour is fine. The main drawback for me is the unfortunate cut – when raising my legs, the trousers offer resistance, even though the legs are wide. Despite 2% elastane, the material is hardly elastic, which restricts movement. This causes problems, for example, when climbing over fallen trees or hiking uphill. Such limited freedom of movement completely disqualifies this model for outdoor use. I decided not to return them only because of a very large discount and my expiring loyalty points. Other issues include fairly noisy material, lack of a back pocket (even though there are as many as four loops – just two side loops would suffice), no front cargo pocket, no drawstring tunnel at the leg cuffs, and putting them on is uncomfortable because your foot catches on the stiff Velcro strip at the knee pocket. To sum up: the trousers look good, but I get the impression they weren’t tested outdoors by people who actually walk a lot. (Maybe the shop can pass my feedback to Helikon – it's a solid brand, but here I feel disappointed.) I’ll add that I also have other trousers from this company – the Helikon-Tex Trekking Tactical Pants VersaStretch – they are very comfortable, have excellent back pockets and are breathable thanks to the high elastane content. It’s just a pity that they’re made entirely of synthetic material, so they're not ideal in hot weather.
