Finally, I'm trying out a Helikon-Tex Woodsman pant. The fabric is excellent, and it's comfortable to wear (no skin irritation from the seams, for example). However, I regret two things: that there are no thigh pockets and no way to tighten the waist. Wearing a belt doesn't necessarily tighten the waist enough. Still, I recommend it, especially at the sale price.
Helikon-Tex Woodsman Pants - Ash Grey
Ash Grey pants known for their comfort and durability, part of the Woodsman series, are crafted for bushcraft, survival, and all outdoor ventures. They feature 4 spacious pockets.

The pants are equipped with four functional pockets:
- two traditional pockets with reinforced edges

DuraCanvas is a densely woven fabric with high resistance to abrasion, tearing, and sparks from a campfire. It performs well in demanding outdoor conditions, especially when working around a campsite. The fabric is suitable for waxing, which improves its water resistance and durability. At the same time, it remains breathable and flexible for comfortable movement. It combines the toughness of traditional workwear with the functionality of modern outdoor clothing.

I am very happy with these trousers I use them everyday for walking my dog as I don't want to use my more expensive trousers during the muddy winter months. They are not the warmest trousers I own and on windy days you can feel the wind blowing right through them but for the price its hard to complain. I have always washed them inside out using the coldest setting using grangers active wash and they have retained their colour really well.

I have mixed feelings about these pants: on one hand, they have some significant advantages, but on the other, they also have notable drawbacks. I rate them 3 stars considering the regular price. Advantages include: a good cut, attractive appearance, legs of reasonable width, very comfortable front pockets, practical rear and side pockets (useful, for example, for a knife), plenty of loops for hanging tools (although why as many as four, since the belt loops are solid?), the materials look sturdy, nice bushcraft-style logo, decent color. However, the main downside for me is the unfortunate fit – when raising my legs, the pants resist, even though the legs are wide. Despite 2% elastane, the fabric has very little stretch, which restricts movement and causes problems, e.g. when stepping over fallen trees or climbing. Such limited freedom of movement completely disqualifies this model for outdoor use. I decided not to return them only because of a big promotion and expiring loyalty points. Other drawbacks are the rather loud fabric, lack of a back pocket (even though there are four loops – two side ones would be enough), lack of even one front cargo-type side pocket, no tunnel for a drawstring at the cuffs, and uncomfortable to put on because your foot catches on the stiff Velcro tab at the knee pocket. In summary: the pants look good, but I get the impression that they weren't field-tested by people who do a lot of walking. (Maybe the store will pass my comment to Helikon – it's a solid brand, and here I am left disappointed.) I'll add that I also have other pants from this company, the Helikon-Tex Trekking Tactical Pants VersaStretch – they are very comfortable, have great rear pockets, and are breathable thanks to their high elastane content. The only downside is they are entirely made from synthetic material, so they don't perform best during heat waves.

Hello, the pants are excellent, the cut is very comfortable and does not restrict movement, they are suitable for outdoors, work, and everyday use; durable and strong, pleasant material, versatile application as always with Helikon. I recommend them.

Helikon Woodsman pants - Crimson Sky / Black, these are already my next pair of pants from this brand. This time I went for the red and black version. I have three different colors and I like all of them. The only downside is that there is no traditional back pocket.

Helikon Woodsman Pants - Taiga Green is an interesting model. Contrary to what some say, they are not very thick. They work well in subzero temperatures when you are active, but if you plan to stand for a long time, it's worth wearing something extra underneath.
-
The Helikon Woodsman pants - Black are comfortable, but they fit slightly tightly in the thigh and buttocks area. I work out and run, but I'm not a bodybuilder. It's a pity they don't have traditional back pockets. Despite these minor issues, I already own three pairs in different colors, which probably speaks best about the product.

I bought the Helikon Woodsman pants in Cloud Grey / Ash Grey color and I am very satisfied with this choice. They are very comfortable, fit well, and do not restrict movement. The material seems durable, yet pleasant to wear. They are perfect both for everyday wear and for outdoor activities. I highly recommend them!

Great pants. Comfy but sturdy made. I like the extra layer for the knees Great that the belly closes with velcro so the fit is easy adaptable Cool when hot and warm when chilly. I’ve got 3 pairs in total now. Love them Medium for a 1.69 and 73kg

I am 182 cm tall and weigh about 100 kg, I chose size XL. The pants fit well, they are not as wide as cargo pants, and thanks to the elastic material, they provide comfort and freedom of movement. The pockets are deep enough to carry a pocket knife without the risk of losing it.

Love the Woodsman range, started with the Anorak and very happy with these trousers. Tough material but comfortable with good range of movement. Option for knee pads real plus. Great value for quality product.
-
A very beautiful and functional pair of pants—high quality—but they run rather small. Suggested improvement: an option to adjust the hem width.
-
The pants are very comfortable and pleasant. Indeed, back pockets would be useful, but despite their absence, the pants are still great. I chose size XXL long and although I had doubts whether they would be too long, they fit perfectly (I'm 196 cm tall – regular XXL would be too short). The material is nice, plus there is a large selection of colors. I definitely recommend them.

I am extremely satisfied with the purchase of these pants. They look fantastic and fit the body perfectly. I am 185 cm tall and weigh 95 kg – size XL turned out to be perfect. I also appreciate the presence of an adjustable Velcro strap instead of a button, which allows for a better fit. I recommend them!

Good, durable, and practical pants. Huge plus for the variety of colors and space for protective inserts. Quality—typical for Helikon, which means very good. Sizing with no surprises. The only downside—no back pocket.
