This is a really solid jacket. It is very well made, well thought out, and has practical, roomy pockets. The level of insulation feels ideal to me, although for extreme frosts around -20°C and below I use Helikon’s level 7, which admittedly keeps you wonderfully warm but looks more like a potato sack. The Yukon looks much more elegant and formal, while still remaining very functional. The insulated hood is a big plus, because even with my bald head I do not feel cold. I also really appreciate the smooth, quilted lining — that was exactly what I had been missing most. For years I wore Patriot jackets from Helikon, but their fleece interior sticks to many shirt fabrics, which made putting them on and taking them off tiresome. In the Yukon, that problem does not occur. Thanks to the smooth lining, the jacket goes on quickly and comfortably regardless of what you are wearing underneath. I ordered my standard XL size, the same as in all my Helikon fleeces, softshells, level 7 jackets, sweatshirts, and shirts. My only comment on the sizing concerns the sleeve length — in this model they are about 2 cm too long. I have not encountered that problem in other clothes from this brand. When the jacket is zipped up, it is less noticeable, but when it is unzipped, the sleeves droop even more. That does not particularly bother me, because they cover the wrists better and the wind does not get between the gloves and the sleeves, but for others it may be a drawback. Besides that, the high price is also worth mentioning, as it is definitely noticeable. Fortunately, I managed to reduce it a little thanks to saved-up KSK points. Even so, I am very satisfied with this jacket. The purchase was expensive, but definitely worthwhile.

I definitely recommend it! The jacket is warm, comfortable and practical – it works great during the autumn-winter season. It's made from sturdy, flame-resistant material, provides good insulation against the cold, is waterproof and protects against the wind. The only thing I miss are zips on the ventilation openings – instead, there are drawstrings, which come undone easily and aren't very durable. It would be worth considering replacing them with zips. Other than that, the jacket is worth its price and I don't notice any other drawbacks.

I bought this product with hunting in mind. Visually, it looks very good; however, it is not suitable for hunting because the hood is too thick and stiff. When the jacket is zipped all the way up to the neck and the hood is down, a hard, bulky collar forms around the head, resembling a tyre. It probably blocks the wind effectively, but it makes turning your head while observing very difficult because your ears rub against the stiff material. It is even worse when you have some kind of electronic device behind your ear, because it keeps catching on the collar. It is also not possible to wear a hat comfortably, because the brim constantly rubs against the back of the collar, especially against its thick, stiff edge. For this reason, I cannot give it a higher rating, although for a different use the jacket would probably perform very well.

Duracanvas is genuinely hard-wearing — it’s not afraid of branches, bushes, or accidental sparks, which is critical in the field. It fits comfortably, doesn’t strain the shoulders or back, and it’s comfortable to move around in. It blocks the wind excellently. The Coyote colour is practical and doesn’t show dirt easily. For active tasks and everyday wear — it’s exactly what’s needed. I recommend it to those who value reliability and functionality without unnecessary fuss.

This jacket works great both in the forest and in the city during winter, even down to -15 degrees, and with a few layers you can manage even at -20. It replaced my Jack Wolfskin, which after 8 years was no longer suitable. It is comfortable, breathable, and looks good. My wife complimented both the colour and the style.

A very pleasant jacket, but I wouldn’t say it’s exceptionally warm – during an hour-long mass in church in winter you can get quite cold. However, during intense activity it might actually be too warm. What I like most are the smooth sleeve linings – it’s really comfortable to put on. The other features resemble the Pilgrim or SAS Smock models. People familiar with other Helikon jackets will feel right at home in it.

Looking for a jacket for a while, I was mainly tempted by positive user reviews confirmed by purchases. I tried on the Earth Brown model in the shop, but I wanted the Ash Grey colour, so I ordered the right size online. Unfortunately, when I received the jacket, there were a lot of loose threads, and I have attached only a few photos as examples. The hanging loop was torn, the zip pullers under the armpits were also starting to come apart, as other buyers have already reported. There are numerous threads visible on black clothes – most likely from the synthetic insulation. As for thermal insulation, nothing special – I don’t understand reviews saying a T-shirt is enough at -10 degrees as I personally still need a fleece and even then it can be just average, especially in the wind. The advantages are the look, pockets, adjustable hood and lightness. In hindsight, I regret this purchase, even at a reduced price the jacket wasn’t worth it.

Excellent jacket. Robust enough for small outdoor tasks (carrying wood, light DIY) and warm enough to be comfortable in negative temperatures and moderate walking (very effective and thermal hood). Lots of pockets and loops. I always wear XL and that's what I chose. I could have taken L but it would have been a bit tight (I have broad shoulders and I like having space to store things inside my jackets: here there are 2 inner mesh pockets for gloves, hat, etc.) I'm thinking of treating it with a Nikwax coating but when new it is already naturally water-repellent. I find the loops for attaching a pouch or Mora knife to the outside brilliant. No regrets, it's exactly what I needed.
