Helikon-Tex UTS PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop 6" Shorts - Rhodesian Camo

Tactical shorts UTS (Urban Tactical Shorts) are made from high-quality PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop fabric (50% polyester, 48% cotton, 2% elastane) with a grammage of 220 g/m2, characterised by significant elasticity and resistance to abrasions and tears.

A modern fit, solid seams and the materials used guarantee adequate freedom of movement. Thanks to numerous and logically placed pockets, the shorts are suitable for both everyday urban use and activities in the field.

They have ten practical pockets:
- two classic ones on the hips with reinforced edges,
- four on the thighs (two wide ones with zips and two narrow ones with velcro),
- four on the back (two wide and two narrow placed inside the wide ones).

Instead of a button, a wide velcro allowing adjustment within a range of 6 cm is used. An elastic strap is sewn into the waistband to improve the fit of the shorts to different body shapes. All zippers are produced by the renowned Japanese company YKK.

Belt loops allow wearing of a belt up to 50 mm wide, with two front ones additionally equipped with loops that can be used to attach, for example, a carabiner.

Rhodesian Camo is a classic camouflage pattern created in the 1960s for the Rhodesian Armed Forces (now Zimbabwe). It was designed for warfare during regional conflicts, particularly the so-called Bush War (1964–1979), and adapted to southern African conditions - dry bush, grassy plains and low vegetation. The pattern is characterised by a unique, hand-painted appearance, reminiscent of brush strokes. It consists of irregular, horizontal shapes in shades of green and brown, placed on a light green or sandy background. The tri-colour, contrasting palette and layout resembling natural environmental elements, such as leaves, branches and grasses, cause the camouflage to effectively distort the silhouette's outline and make detection more difficult in a wooded landscape.
