Helikon-Tex UTS PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop 6" Shorts - Rhodesian Camo

UTS Shorts (Urban Tactical Shorts) are tactical shorts with a versatile fit that are suitable for both urban environments and outdoor activities. Made from durable PoliCotton Stretch Rip-Stop fabric, providing durability alongside flexibility and comfort, they are equipped with 10 practical pockets for convenient carrying of gear.

The primary material is PoliCotton Stretch Rip-Stop (50% polyester, 48% cotton, 2% elastane) with a grammage of 220 g/m2, distinguished by high resistance to abrasions and damage. The Rip-Stop structure reinforces the fabric, reducing the risk of mechanical damage, while the addition of elastane improves flexibility and wearing comfort. The modern fit and reinforced seams provide freedom of movement and durability of the shorts.

The shorts feature 10 spacious pockets:

• 2 classic hip pockets with reinforced edges
• 2 wide thigh cargo pockets with zip closures
• 2 narrow thigh pockets with velcro closures
• 2 rear wide pockets
• 2 rear narrow pockets located inside the wide pockets

The shorts fasten with a YKK zip and a wide velcro, allowing for a waist adjustment of approximately 6 cm. An elastic band in the waist ensures a better fit to the silhouette. Belt loops allow for the use of a belt up to 50 mm wide, and two front loops are equipped with loops for attaching accessories.

Rhodesian Camo is a classic camouflage pattern developed in the 1960s for the Rhodesian Armed Forces (today's Zimbabwe). Created for warfare during conflicts in the region, especially the so-called Bush War (1964-1979), it was adapted to the conditions of southern Africa - dry bushland, grassy plains and low vegetation. The pattern is distinguished by its unique hand-painted appearance reminiscent of brushstrokes. It consists of irregular horizontal shapes in shades of green and brown, placed on a light green or sandy background. With a three-color contrasting palette and an arrangement that resembles natural elements of the environment - such as leaves, branches and grasses - the camouflage effectively diffuses the outline of the silhouette and makes it difficult to detect in the densely vegetated landscape.
