I like the Flex series because it is more durable compared to ripstop. The fabric is less prone to damage and dirt. When they are on promotion, in my opinion, UTP Flex trousers are the best choice both for everyday work and as workwear for the allotment.
Helikon-Tex UTP Flex Trousers - MultiCam
UTP (Urban Tactical Trousers) trousers made of high-quality Nyco RipStop (50% cotton, 50% nylon), which provides exceptional resistance to abrasions and tears. This fabric is lighter and dries faster than pure cotton, increasing comfort during use. The well-thought-out placement of multiple pockets makes this model perfect for urban environments as well as outdoor activities.
Combination of comfort and durability
A unique combination of military and civilian style – a discreet look combined with the functionality of combat trousers.
Modern cut, carefully planned seams, and high-quality fabric ensure great freedom of movement and durability.
12 practical pockets
This model offers twelve pockets, including:
- two classic hip pockets with reinforced edges
- four thigh pockets (two spacious with zips and two narrower with Velcro closures)
- four back pockets (two wide with Velcro closures and two smaller ones inside the wide ones)
- two inner pockets near the groin, ideal for a tactical torch or spare magazine
Additionally, knee-height pockets allow for protective pad inserts.
Precise fit
Instead of a traditional button, a wide Velcro strap is used, allowing waist adjustment within a range of 6 cm. An elastic band sewn into the waist improves fit and enhances wearing comfort.
Around the back pockets and in the crotch, additional reinforcement with VersaStretch nylon fabric has been used.
Two front belt loops have additional loops that can be used to attach a carabiner, for example.

MultiCam camouflage
MultiCam is a state-of-the-art camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by US company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a versatile camouflage pattern that is effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown and beige. As a result, it dynamically adapts to the background, adopting shades of green in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert regions - in Central and Eastern European environments, it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as the camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military or airsoft enthusiasts.

As with Helikon products, these trousers are really excellent and reasonably priced. So far they have proven to be practically indestructible. They have lots of roomy pockets, and the zips and overall durability are also big plus points. I’ve been using them daily in the field for almost a year, and there are no visible signs of wear, even after intensive rides. I definitely recommend them. The only downside is the lack of drawstrings, although there are openings, so you can add or insert them yourself. It’s also worth paying attention to the length, because they are a bit too long.

These are some of my favourite trousers. They are very comfortable and well made, which is also confirmed by other positive reviews. They wash well and are hard to damage. I definitely recommend them!

I bought it for my son so he would also have something sufficiently functional in black. This way, every little item has its place and can be carried on him. Comfortable, durable, and good value for money. For years we have worn almost only Helikon-Tex trousers, so there is no question what we choose.

I ordered the flex version to try it out (I had previously used the rip-stop version) and, as always with this series of trousers, I am satisfied – they are very comfortable and durable enough.
-
I have two pairs of these trousers in olive colour and I really regret that they are no longer available in multicam version, as I am just about to switch to that type of camouflage. The trousers are suitable both for everyday use in the city and for wearing in the field. They are comfortable, soft, and breathe well.

These are my favourite trousers for workouts and visits to the shooting range. They are extremely comfortable, don't cause chafing, and dry very quickly. The only downside is the fairly loud rustling of the material, which can sometimes be inconvenient.
-
Good length, the fit is a bit tighter than expected but still fits. Ordered together with the kneepads, which can be inserted without much trouble. Overall, a good impression; a stress test is still to be performed. If any defects arise, the rating will be updated.

This is one of the best designs of these trousers – the material used is much more durable than standard ripstop. It gets less dirty and withstands abrasion and tearing better. In terms of functionality, these trousers, like all from the UTP series, perform excellently.
-
It is simply the best pair of trousers I have bought on this site. They are very flexible, very durable, and very comfortable to wear. I think it offers excellent value for money, in fact the best value for money on this site in my opinion. I highly recommend it.

Great trousers from a Polish manufacturer. An interesting concept, especially when it comes to the layout and workmanship of the pockets. There are plenty of compartments for rifle magazines, but also no shortage of zipped pockets. YKK zip – Helikon doesn't cut corners here. The trousers fit well, more than the BDU model, but less than the MBDU from this brand. They are also slightly shorter than the MBDU, though still the right length. I definitely recommend these trousers!

I can wholeheartedly recommend these trousers, especially at the current reduced price. The quality of workmanship is high; they are very well made. The number of belt loops is impressive, and some are double. They fit perfectly – not too wide and not too narrow, definitely not skinny. The elastic inserts make them even more comfortable to wear. The cargo pockets are placed higher than usual, so when filled they won't sway from side to side, and their capacity is enough to fit a lot, even a B5-sized book (for those interested). The sizing given in the table matches the actual product. The only downside is that the material is not very breathable, but this should improve after a few washes.
-
Good cut, fits perfectly, very comfortable, the higher pocket is pleasant, freedom of movement. It's a versatile and robust choice. Its resistance to tears and its water-repellent treatment make it ideal for the field, while its comfort is reminiscent of sportswear. Although more expensive than the standard version, the added flexibility more than justifies the investment for intensive use.

The trousers are very well made and the material is really high quality. Unfortunately, the biggest drawback is the large Velcro instead of a button, which comes undone every time I use the toilet, and the zip at the fly is too short. I think the Velcro should be placed on the sides of the trousers to allow for size adjustment. For these reasons, I can only give 3 stars instead of 5 – this is a serious drawback.
-
I do not like these trousers. Although they are very comfortable and nice they make a rustling noise like a plastic bag. It is not so bad, but it is not suitable for stealth.
