I like the Flex series because it is more durable compared to ripstop. The fabric is less prone to damage and stains. When they are on sale, in my opinion, UTP Flex pants are the best choice both for everyday work and as work clothes for the garden.
Helikon-Tex UTP Flex Pants - MultiCam
Contemporary UTP (Urban Tactical Pants) crafted from premium Nyco RipStop (50% cotton, 50% nylon) fabric, which offers excellent resistance to abrasion and tears, while being lighter and drying faster compared to 100% cotton fabric. With numerous pockets and their practical arrangement, these pants are ideal for urban settings and will perform excellently in outdoor activities.
Above average freedom of movement and durability
A perfect blend of military and civilian attire, offering a discreet design alongside the functionality of tactical pants.
The unique cut, precise stitching, and fabric of these pants ensure exceptional freedom of movement and durability.
12 capacious pockets
These pants feature twelve pockets:
- two traditional ones at hip height with reinforced edges,
- four on the thighs (including two spacious ones with zippers and two narrow ones with Velcro),
- four on the back (comprised of two wide ones secured with Velcro and two narrow ones situated inside the larger pockets),
- and two inner pockets at groin level meant for holding a tactical flashlight or extra magazine.
Additionally, pockets are located inside the knees, providing space for protective inserts.
Easy fit of the pants to the figure
Instead of utilizing a button, the pants feature a wide Velcro that allows for 6 cm of adjustment. The waistband is stitched with an elastic band, enhancing the fit to accommodate individual body shapes.
An additional layer of VersaStretch nylon fabric reinforces the material above the rear pockets and in the crotch area.
Two front belt loops have additional loops at the bottom for attaching items like a carabiner.

MultiCam camouflage
MultiCam is a contemporary camouflage design created in 2002 by the American firm Crye Precision in partnership with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) under the Objective Force Warrior initiative. Its purpose was to develop a versatile camouflage that would be effective across varying landscapes and shifting environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern is composed of seven colors, facilitating gradient transitions among green, brown, and beige hues. This enables it to seamlessly blend into the surroundings, adopting green tones in forested regions or brown and beige shades in desert landscapes. In the context of Central and Eastern Europe, it performs exceptionally well during autumn and among arid vegetation. MultiCam has earned global acclaim and is employed by numerous military forces and special operations units. In 2010, the US Army officially adopted this camouflage for soldiers deployed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also accessible to civilian users, making it a favored option among military and airsoft hobbyists.

The pants fit and look extremely good. At my measurements of 185 cm and 80 kg, size S Long fits like a glove. Very neatly made with great wearing comfort thanks to the stretch content. Gladly again!

I’ve never been disappointed with good old Helikon. This time is no exception. As always, excellent gear! Good stitching, solid material, good ripstop, and I especially like the belt loops too. Lots of pockets, although I’d point out that of the 12 pockets mentioned, 6 are these tiny little knife/pocketknife pockets, and 2 are hidden inside. So no one should be misled by that. It’s also relatively good that there’s a pocket inside so you can put in a knee pad. I even thought about putting one in, but thinking it through more carefully, it’s not exactly very useful, since it’s on the inside and you can’t put in rigid plastic, only something soft. Because of this, no matter how good the jeans’ ripstop is, if you kneel on rough terrain, since the knee pad is on the inside, the material around the knee can easily get damaged. So if you want a knee pad, you need to attach it from the outside. So I feel this inner knee pad option is a bit useless like this. But for whoever needs it, it’s there! At 14500 HUF on sale, it was incredibly worth it. I can only recommend the trousers!

These military-style pants completely won me over with their excellent durability, even under demanding wear. The camouflage pattern works great—it fits perfectly in the field and serves its purpose well. Their practicality is at a high level thanks to the well-thought-out cut and the number of useful pockets. I find the military design successful; it gives them character while also looking functional. Overall, I have no complaints about them—they are great pants for both outdoor and everyday use.

The excellent pants I bought are extremely durable and comfortable. With everyday wear, they never stop surprising me with their quality and craftsmanship. Over the time I’ve been using them, there have been no signs of wear, which gives me confidence in their durability. I have nothing to criticize about them — from the cut to the materials, everything is exactly in line with my expectations. That is precisely why I have no reservations about them and can only recommend them.

As with Helikon products, these pants are really excellent and reasonably priced. So far they have proven to be practically indestructible. They have lots of roomy pockets, and the zippers and overall durability are also big pluses. I’ve been using them daily in the field for almost a year, and there are no visible signs of wear, even after intensive rides. I definitely recommend them. The only downside is the lack of drawstrings, although there are openings, so you can add or insert them yourself. It’s also worth paying attention to the length, because they are a bit too long.

These are some of my favorite pants. They are very comfortable and well made, which is also confirmed by other positive reviews. They hold up well in the wash and are hard to damage. I definitely recommend them!

I bought it for my son so he would also have something sufficiently functional in black. This way, every little item has its place and can be carried on him. Comfortable, durable, and good value for money. For years we have worn almost only Helikon-Tex trousers, so there is no question what we choose.

I ordered the flex version to try it out (previously I used the rip-stop) and as always with this series of pants, I am satisfied – they are very comfortable and durable enough.
-
I own two pairs of these pants in olive color and I really regret that they are no longer available in the multicam version, because I am planning to switch to that type of camouflage. The pants work well both for everyday use in the city and for wearing in the field. They are comfortable, soft, and breathable.

These are my favorite pants for workouts and visits to the shooting range. They are extremely comfortable, don't cause chafing, and dry quickly. The only downside is the rather loud rustling of the fabric, which can sometimes be troublesome.
-
Length is good, fit is a bit tighter than expected, but still fits. Ordered together with the kneepads, which can be inserted without much trouble. Overall, a good impression; the stress test is yet to be performed. If any problems arise, the review will be updated.

This is one of the best styles of these pants – the material used is much more durable than standard ripstop. It gets less dirty, holds up better against abrasions and tears. In terms of functionality, these pants, like all from the UTP series, are excellent.
-
It's simply the best pair of pants I've bought on this site. It's very flexible, very sturdy, and very comfortable to wear. I think it has excellent value for money—actually, in my opinion, it's the best value for money on this site. I highly recommend it.

Great pants from a Polish manufacturer. An interesting concept, especially when it comes to the layout and execution of the pockets. There are plenty of compartments for rifle magazines, but also plenty of zippered pockets. YKK zipper – Helikon doesn't skimp on that. The pants fit well, more than the BDU model, but less than this brand's MBDU. They're also a bit shorter than the MBDU, though still the right length. I definitely recommend these pants!
