The cord is made entirely of nylon, which ensures high resistance to UV radiation, rot, mould and moisture. The four-core internal layout, protected by a dense braid, provides static strength up to 125 kg (275 pounds) and elasticity that makes tying and untying knots easier. The material retains colour durability, and in emergency situations the cores can be removed and used as sewing threads or makeshift fishing line.
