An excellent choice for airsoft: comfortable, fairly flexible, and equipped with many large pockets. Unfortunately, I still haven’t found suitable knee pad inserts for it, but it does have space for them. I bought it in the VZ.93 pattern, and it is excellent for Hungarian woodland.
Helikon-Tex SFU Next Mk2 Pants PolyCotton Rip-Stop Uniform Trousers - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland
Modern version of the classic SFU Next military trousers. Although the style is reminiscent of the previous version, it has been completely redesigned in terms of fit and ergonomics. The addition of elastane in the fabric ensures greater flexibility and freedom of movement. They effectively protect against both cold and heat, as well as mechanical injuries, while also helping to conceal the silhouette.
The combination of the Helikon-Tex SFU Next Mk2 Trousers PolyCotton Ripstop wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland uniform trousers and the Helikon-Tex SFU Next PolyCotton Ripstop wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland combat shirt creates a set with properties similar to the standard uniform of the Polish Army.
Reinforcements on the knees and buttocks, easy adjustment of the trousers to the figure
SFU, often referred to as combat trousers, provide high comfort and complete freedom of movement. Key areas prone to abrasion, such as the knees and buttocks, are reinforced with additional layers of fabric.
The design of the trousers is free of metal elements, except for the waistband adjusters. The button closure, which also covers the opening, ensures reliability. Adjustable drawstrings allow the waist circumference to be adjusted without the need for a belt. Additional loop belt loops at the front allow equipment such as a tactical lanyard to be attached.
8 spacious pockets
The practical layout of eight pockets allows for convenient carrying of essential small items:
- two spacious cargo pockets with Velcro closures,
- two smaller pockets for additional equipment, e.g. a spare magazine,
- two classic hip pockets,
- two rear pockets secured with flaps.
The contoured reinforcements on the knees can also be used to place internal protective inserts, increasing the comfort and safety of the user.

PL Woodland Camouflage
Helikon-Tex PL Woodland camouflage is the name given by the manufacturer to a camouflage that is a close equivalent of wz. 93 âPantherâ, in force in the Polish Armed Forces. Superimposed on a gray-green background, irregular patches of black, brown and green provide good camouflage in the open and wooded areas of Poland and other Central European countries.

Preferred the Mk1 by a long way. The thigh/cargo pockets are on backwards... when you want to get anything out of them, the fronts are sewn up, you have to reach right round to the back and put your hand in whatever muck and grime you’ve been sitting in. The Mk1s you could put your hand in the front part. At least the hip pockets are still jeans style and not slash pockets that allow your stuff to fall out. Does anyone know if I can still get some Mk1s in 32W/32?!?

Unfortunately, these trousers are not like the old SFU models I purchased over the years. I started with the first version, then had the Next (II) with its distinctive sizing, D-rings on the belt loops, a wide cut, and excellent internal elasticated cargo pockets. The shop cannot be blamed, as they sell what they receive from the manufacturer. However, Helikon can be criticised. This SFU model comes up smaller than indicated (XL, XXL etc.), has a straight and narrow leg, lacks internal cargo and calf pockets, and the magazine and phone pockets are smaller. The only positive change is the Velcro waist adjustment instead of traditional straps. The name SFU on this model is misleading for customers. It's a shame.

If I remember correctly, SFU stands for Special Forces Uniform and there’s certainly something to it. These trousers are free from unnecessary extras and have a more fitted cut compared to classic BDUs, though that doesn’t mean they are very tight. The pockets have been redesigned, the material is durable, there are drawstrings at the waist, and the fly is fastened with buttons. All of this makes the trousers very solid and I think they will last a long time.

This is another pair in my collection. I bought the trousers in March this year and so far nothing bad has happened to them. The colour does not fade, and the material does not wear out or tear. They work great both outdoors and for everyday wear. I definitely recommend them – worth every penny.

Recently I ordered two pairs of trousers for my husband – we have chosen Helikon trousers for a long time, but we have noticed a significant decline in the quality of these products. The sizing has changed, the material and stitching quality has worsened, and the cut is now poorer – for example, the number of pockets in the same model has been reduced and the buttons are falling off. It's a shame, as I don't know if I will decide to buy Helikon products again, although I will probably not give up shopping at militaria.pl.

Comfortable and durable. So far, I've used them for physical work and hiking, and thorny bushes don't bother them at all. The upper pockets are a bit narrow for me, I can't comfortably put my hands in them. Apart from that, they are excellent trousers for hiking, airsoft, and work. I'm glad they are also available in wz.93 camo pattern.

Great quality. The trousers are comfortable, functional, and very durable. I can wholeheartedly recommend them. I've been wearing various Helikon trousers for years, but this particular style suits me especially well.

I have had these trousers for over a month now. Previously, I always used the Pentagon BDU model, so I have a good comparison. I'll mention at the start that I've always washed the trousers according to the manufacturer's instructions. I wore them for 8-12 hours a day, so I can say: - The size was chosen correctly – for longer journeys, this increases comfort - Compared to the Pentagon BDU – the waist proportions are larger, and the legs fit better over boots (I am 170 cm tall, trousers in size XXL) - The material is thinner than the Pentagon, but more breathable, which is a plus in summer – in winter you need to wear thermal underwear (e.g. LVL 1 and 2 from Helikon work fine) - The ripstop on these trousers is barely visible and the material itself (black colour) is pleasant to touch - Access to the side thigh pockets (thanks to the Velcro) is much quicker than in the button models, but it's a pity that the Velcro is only on the back, not on both sides - Unfortunately, for this price the trousers could be better made – after the first wash, loose threads appeared near the pockets - Personally, I don't like buttons on trousers, it would be better if they had a YKK metal zip like the Pentagons - The buttons were so weakly sewn on that I had to fix them myself because I'd already lost one In summary: I give a rating of 4/5 – because of the mentioned flaws. Maybe I was unlucky with the batch, but from the Helikon brand I expected better quality. [Would I buy again?] - Probably yes, but I'll consider other options too. It all depends on your needs and usage – for me, they're satisfactory. [Is the price appropriate compared to Pentagon BDU?] - It's fine.

Nice trousers, comfortable and fits well. Useful in mid-season and summer. Bought in size L for 175cm and 85kg. The pockets are numerous enough and deep. I recommend.
-
Great trousers. I think this is my third pair from FSU. The colour doesn't fade for a long time. They might be a bit chilly in winter, but they are perfect for autumn and spring. I will definitely buy more.

It was tried and tested for 14 days in the Ugandan bush! There is a small tear in the seam at the back, but that's a minor issue. It's good value for money.

This is already my third pair of Helikon SFU Next Mk2 Pants PolyCotton Rip-Stop combat trousers, this time in black. At a height of 180 cm and a weight of 85 kg, size L fits perfectly. I usually wear size M in Helikon trousers, but in this model a larger size is better.

Very good trousers at an attractive price. The comfort and quality are excellent, and when paired with knee pads bought separately, they become the perfect work trousers. They are sturdy and suitable for any tough task! I definitely recommend them!
