An excellent choice for airsoft: comfortable, բավականьо flexible, and equipped with many large pockets. Unfortunately, I still haven’t found suitable knee pad inserts for it, but it does have space for them. I bought it in the VZ.93 pattern, and it is excellent for Hungarian woodland.
Helikon-Tex SFU Next Mk2 Pants PolyCotton Rip-Stop Uniform Pants - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland
Modern version of the classic SFU Next military pants. Although the style is reminiscent of the previous version, it has been completely redesigned in terms of fit and ergonomics. The addition of elastane in the fabric ensures greater flexibility and freedom of movement. They effectively protect against both cold and heat, as well as mechanical injuries, while also helping to conceal the silhouette.
The combination of the Helikon-Tex SFU Next Mk2 Pants PolyCotton Ripstop wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland uniform pants and the Helikon-Tex SFU Next PolyCotton Ripstop wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland combat shirt creates a set with properties similar to the standard uniform of the Polish Army.
Reinforcements on the knees and buttocks, easy adjustment of the pants to the figure
SFU, often referred to as combat pants, provide high comfort and complete freedom of movement. Key areas prone to abrasion, such as the knees and buttocks, are reinforced with additional layers of fabric.
The design of the pants is free of metal elements, except for the waistband adjusters. The button closure, which also covers the opening, ensures reliability. Adjustable drawstrings allow the waist circumference to be adjusted without the need for a belt. Additional loop belt loops at the front allow equipment such as a tactical lanyard to be attached.
8 spacious pockets
The efficient design of eight pockets ensures the easy transport of essential small gear:
- two large cargo pockets with Velcro fastenings,
- two smaller compartments for additional gear, such as an extra magazine,
- two traditional hip pockets,
- two back pockets secured with flaps.
The contoured knee reinforcements are designed to accommodate internal protective inserts, enhancing the wearer's comfort and safety.

PL Woodland Camouflage
The PL Woodland camouflage, created by Helikon-Tex, closely resembles the wz. 93 “Panther” used by the Polish Armed Forces. Irregular patches of black, brown, and green on a gray-green background offer efficient concealment in both open and forested landscapes of Poland and other Central European regions.

Preferred the Mk1 by a long way. The thigh/cargo pockets are on backwards... when you want to get anything out of them, the fronts are sewn up, you have the reach right round to the back and put you hand in what every muck and grime you've been siting in. The Mk1s you could put your hand in the front part. At least the hip pockets are still jeans style and not slash pockets that allows you stuff to fall out. Does any know if i can still get some Mk1s in 32W/32?!?

Unfortunately, these pants do not resemble the old SFU models that I used to buy over the years. I started with the first version, then had the Next (II), which had the characteristic sizing, d-rings on the belt loops, a wide fit and great internal pockets with elastic in the cargo. You can't blame the store, because they sell what they get from the manufacturer. But you can have reservations about Helikon. This SFU model is smaller compared to its size labels (XL, XXL, etc.), has a simple and narrow leg, lacks internal cargo pockets and calf pockets, and has smaller pockets for a magazine or phone. The only positive change is Velcro adjustments at the waist instead of traditional straps. The name SFU in this model misleads customers. It's a pity.

If I remember correctly, SFU stands for Special Forces Uniform and there really is something to it. These pants are free of unnecessary extras and have a more fitted cut than classic BDUs, but that doesn't mean they are very tight. The pockets have been redesigned, the material is durable, there are drawstrings at the waist, and the fly fastens with buttons. All this together makes the pants very solid and I think they will last a long time.

This is yet another pair in my collection. I bought the pants in March this year and so far nothing bad has happened to them. The color doesn't fade, the material doesn't wear out or tear. They work great both outdoors and for everyday wear. I definitely recommend them – worth every penny.

Recently I ordered two pairs of pants for my husband – we've been choosing Helikon pants for a long time, but we've noticed a significant decline in the quality of these products. The sizing has changed, the quality of the material and stitching has worsened, and the cut is now simpler – for example, the number of pockets in the same model has been reduced, and the buttons are falling off. It's a pity because I don't know if I'll decide to buy Helikon products again, although I probably won't give up on militaria.pl.

Comfortable and durable. I have used it for physical work and hiking so far; thorny bushes are no problem for it. The upper pockets are a bit narrow for me, I can't comfortably put my hands in them. Apart from that, it's an excellent pair of pants for hiking, airsoft, and work. I'm glad it's also available in wz.93 pattern.

Great quality. The pants are comfortable, functional, and very durable. I wholeheartedly recommend them. I've been wearing various Helikon pants models for years, but I particularly like this style.

I've had these pants for over a month now. Previously, I always used the Pentagon BDU model, so I have a good basis for comparison. Let me mention at the start that I always washed the pants according to the manufacturer's recommendations. I wore them every day for 8-12 hours, so I can say: - The size is chosen well – for longer trips, this increases comfort - Compared to the Pentagon BDU – the proportions at the waist are larger, and the legs sit better on the boots (I'm 170 cm tall, pants size XXL) - The material is thinner than that of the Pentagon, but it's more breathable, which is a plus in summer – in winter, you need to wear thermal underwear (for example, LVL 1 and 2 from Helikon works well) - The ripstop in these pants is almost unnoticeable, and the fabric itself (black color) feels pleasant to the touch - Access to the side thigh pockets (thanks to the Velcro) is much faster than in models with buttons; it's a pity the Velcro is only on the back, not on both sides - Unfortunately, for this price, the pants could be better made – after the first wash, there were already threads sticking out near the pockets - Personally, I don't like buttons on pants; it would be better if there were a metal YKK zipper like in the Pentagon models - The buttons were sewn on so weakly that I had to fix them myself because I already lost one In summary: I give a score of 4/5 – because of the mentioned flaws. Maybe I was just unlucky with the batch, but from the Helikon brand I expected better quality. [Would I buy again?] - Probably yes, but I would also consider other options. It all depends on your needs and use – for me, they work satisfactorily. [Is the price compared to the Pentagon BDU appropriate?] - It's fine.

Nice pants, comfortable and fits well. Useful in mid-season and summer. Bought in size L for 175cm and 85kg. The pockets are numerous enough and deep. I recommend it.
-
Great pants. This is probably my third pair from FSU. The color doesn't fade for a long time. They can be a bit cold in the winter, but they're perfect for fall and spring. I will definitely buy more.

It was tried and tested for 14 days in the Ugandan bush! There is a small tear in the seam at the back, but that's a minor issue. It's good value for money.

This is already my third pair of Helikon SFU Next Mk2 Pants PolyCotton Rip-Stop, this time in black. With a height of 180 cm and a weight of 85 kg, size L fits perfectly. I usually wear size M in Helikon pants, but for this model a bigger size is better.

Very good pants at an attractive price. The comfort and quality are excellent, and combined with knee pads purchased separately, they become perfect work pants. They are durable and suitable for any tough job! I definitely recommend them!
