Of course, once again Helikon Tex has made a very good product. It fits excellently for my height of 183 cm in size L, although the sleeves are a little too long. That is because size M would actually be even better, but then it would no longer fit well in the shoulders, since I have broader shoulders. However, the sleeves could be rolled up very well. I put 6 mm neoprene inserts into the two elbow pockets, and they fit perfectly. The shirt is very good for spring, autumn and winter, and of course also for summer, but I would use it there only up to a maximum of 27 degrees, ideally with a cotton undershirt. Shipping is always super fast anyway!!
Helikon-Tex Raid Polycotton Stretch Rip-Stop Combat Shirt - ERDL
Combat shirt made of PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop (50% polyester, 48% cotton, 2% elastane), a fabric that is highly resistant to abrasion and tearing. The Raid model has a raglan design, which means that the sleeves are sewn directly into the collar, thus eliminating shoulder seams.
8 practical pockets
The covered button placket ensures a clean look and protection against snagging. The practicality of the model is enhanced by 8 ergonomic pockets:
- two buttoned chest pockets,
- one hook-and-loop or buttoned pocket on each shoulder,
- two flat, open pockets on the shoulders,
- two inner mesh pockets – one zipped, the other open.
Each pocket has handles in the form of loops, which allow you to attach your equipment and prevent it from getting lost when you move. The elbows have reinforcements made of a double layer of material, which also serve as pockets for foam protective inserts. The width of the cuffs can be adjusted with Velcro.
Velcro straps
The Velcro straps are sewn above the chest pockets and the shoulder pockets and flaps, allowing you to attach any emblems, such as a national flag, unit emblem or Morale Patches. This allows the jacket to be customised to the wearer's individual taste.
Raglan design
The raglan design means that the sleeves reach all the way down to the chest, eliminating seams on the shoulders. This solution, often found in sportswear, ensures maximum freedom of movement and increased flexibility.
Main features
- raglan design
- durable PolyCotton Rip-Stop blend
- 8 practical pockets
- button fastening covered with a strip
- Velcro straps for personalisation
ERDL camouflage
The ERDL (Engineer Research and Development Laboratory) camouflage was developed in 1948 by an American research laboratory. It did not come into wide use until the 1960s, during the Vietnam War, mainly among special and reconnaissance units. It was on its basis that later designs, such as the Woodland and M81, known around the world today, were developed. The green-brown camouflage palette works well in dense vegetation, European deciduous forests, thickets and mixed woodlands.

Size: S
Excellent Helikon-Tex quality, slightly stretchy material, very good cut, with a slightly tapered fit at the waist. You need to pay attention when choosing the size (it is recommended to study the size chart!!). My usual size is M, but S was the right one for me.

This is a very well-designed hoodie. The stretch ripstop works brilliantly, and the pockets on the sleeves and chest are laid out very practically. The cut is slightly tailored, so people with a larger stomach may initially feel that it is quite tight around the waist, but the elastic material adapts somewhat over time and after a few washes.
-
The sweatshirt is carefully sewn and the material seems durable and of high quality. However, I have a big problem with the fit – size L turned out to be very wide around the stomach, making the garment look a bit like a sack. The length of the sweatshirt and sleeves is fine, but the cut is definitely too loose.

This is already my third shirt from this collection, this time in the ‘wuzetka holiday’ version. I have to admit that if it weren’t for the shoulder pockets, no one would notice that it isn’t a formal shirt. It is very comfortable, excellently made and crafted from high-quality materials. It looks elegant and has a well-fitted cut. As before, I exchanged a size L for M – with my height of 183 cm and weight of 82 kg, it fits perfectly. I definitely recommend it.
-
Great cut and old-style uniform sweatshirt. Additionally, it costs little. An excellent option for going to the shooting range. I hope for more camouflage patterns. I rate it 5/5.

Great shirt in the typically high quality of the Helikon brand. If you prefer it to be a bit more fitted, you should order one size smaller. I usually wear everything from the brand in size L at a height of 1.90 m and a weight of 85 kilos. However, I had to order this shirt in size M and it fits very well.

I was surprised that with my height (175), size S of this sweatshirt still fits me well. I really like the internal pockets, apart from that everything is fine.
-
The sweatshirt is excellent, size M fits perfectly for 183 cm height and 84 kg weight. The internal pockets are very well designed, there are a large number of available patterns, so I probably won’t stop at the desert night camo model. Definitely worth buying, especially at such an attractive promotional price.

I've had this sweatshirt for ten ASG games now and I'm very satisfied! It's incredibly comfortable, and the material seems solid enough to withstand even extreme conditions.
-
An old sweatshirt style in a modern edition – a combination of tradition and innovation. There are pockets both on the chest and on the sleeves, and they can be fastened with either velcro or buttons according to your preference. There are no lower pockets. I recommend it!
-
The sweatshirt is great – especially this colour makes it look very elegant. The pockets are spacious, and the inner ones are particularly well designed – the right one can fit a map, while the left, zipped one runs up to the armpit but is already a bit too short for a map. For me, it's another successful product from Helikon.

This sweatshirt is really great! It's comfortable, fits well, and stands out with its unique, historical camouflage. Makes you want to roll up your sleeves and buy some shorts as well. Rhodesians never die! ;)
-
The sweatshirt is very well made. Typical Helikon quality, but due to the colour it heats up quickly and dust is very visible on it.
-
The Helikon RAID sweatshirt is a solid and functional product. It has an excellent cut and many practical, well-placed pockets – from classic, slanted chest ones to multi-compartment sleeves and inner pockets with zips. Another advantage is the durable rip-stop material in the Rhodesian Brushstroke camouflage, which works great in Polish forests. Definitely worth recommending.
